People have Wynne Wright all wrong. She is AWESOME. Loved her, loved her class. She pushes you to examine your own opinions, and her classes are not hard if you just show up and take basic notes. The only people in my class who didn't like her were the people who didn't pay attention or skipped all the time. Also, sexy southern accent! haha.

All the losers on this site have their heads up you know where. Prof. Wright is good, but you know when you are 18 years old and know everything there is to know and somebody comes along and challenges it, well there are some unhappy campers. But good for them, rock on WW!!!

The worst teacher I've had yet. She has no idea what she is talking about and will beleive any skewed statistic that is in a book. She should be teaching third grade not in college. Don't expect to voice your opinions, she only likes it when you tell her what she wants to hear.

Attendance is graded every day, with a grade reduction after 2 absences. **Very concerned with own research, biased.** The least friendly professor I have. A couple of short, easy papers. A few semi-difficult tests.

Huge feminist liberal. Each one of her lectures were biased in some way. Dole fruit is responsible for poverty? Unequal pay for women and minorities is because of a massive conspiracy created by white males? Her answer to these questions will be taught as yes over the semester. If you disagree expect a dirty look, roll of the eyes, and lower grade.

Unreal expectations, huge workloads. Serious left wing radical who seems to like to blame everything on males...be warned, serious feminist. Takes interesting things and turns them into terrible lectures. Stupid assigments, treats college students like they are kids. Very slanted views.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! (unless you're a guy) She was far more interested in the guys in my class than anything else. Don't bother studying for the tests because it won't help. I'm a straight A student, and I got a C in the class. She made an interesting class completely boring and impossible.

Nice at 1st, but changed fast. She expects TOO much out of her students, she acts like we don't have other classes to study for. On tests she expects a 2 page response to EACH of the four essay questions! Also lots of outside of class work involved, hard tests, lots of reading! Would not reccomend.

I was looking forward to taking sociology until I got into this class. I'm a good student and I'm getting a C- in her class.Unbelievably boring. Can sure read power point well. Unfair and unexperienced. Try someone else.
