I really enjoyed this class. He's very nice and his assignments force you to assimilate the styles of Chinese writers and they're kind of fun. He also helped me out with some questions I had regarding my Chinese class. He's not a hard grader either.

Relatively easy class, towards the end is what'll kill you with his 10+ page research paper and finals. Do go to class, even if you go just to fall asleep, participation % is crucial.

okay, so he's not a harsh grader and he really knows his stuff. the class is fair and not so much reading, easy to keep up with as far as that goes. writing requirements, however, are crazy...so be prepared

The class is incredibly easy, and he goes over all the material simplistically. The papers were some of the easiest things that I've ever written. My only complaint is that I had several exams on one day and he would not allow me an extension.
