worst professor to have. You could understand her English at all. You would basically need to self teach yourself. If you want to fail this course go ahead and take her. When you ask her question she will make a face like she is doing you a big favor by answering your question. She can not teach at all.

Interm Acct has to be the hardest business class at Smu. Top it off with Song...well lets just say have fun. Lack of direction,really hard to understand the material and her english. So if you have no other choice but to take it with her, just make sure you study at LEAST 3 hours a day on the material.

Does not provide clear and timely directions on project. Is difficult to understand in class. Reads from a sheet of paper she is holding in front of her. Adds extra chapters to the syllabus the week before the semester ends. Gave the class a massive project that was worth just 20% of the final grade but should have been worth 50%.

I actually thought her teaching style is my type. She will not explain primary definitions in class cause she expect that we will read the materials after class. She usually direct us to solve exercises and problems in the book and these exercises covers the most important context that will be tested in our exams.

And you thought Song was bad for 2241? Guess again! It's as though she channeled all over her energy into making this the course from hell. Unhelpful, unsympathetic, and just plain bad at teaching the material. This prof will make you hate life. We get it SMU, 3341 is hard, but is it really meant to be impossible?

I advise anyone who has to take 3441 to NOT take it with Song, you will regret it! Its a nightmare. 45% of the class dropped it after the midterm, and the ones who are left (one being myself) are aiming for C's. Great isn't it? Take ACCT 3341 with another prof, or you will be regretting it!

It's a hard class but shes very nice and helpful. One of the few professors at SMU that can take constructive criticism without taking it personal. If you ask her questions outside the course material she will give you a thorough explanation on the spot. Very professional and intelligent.

I couldn't understand anything from her class. All I can do is to read the materials myself. she is helpless!!! In her class, all she does is reading her notes, which is not posted on smu port. She never told us the key point. Taking her class is my nightmare!!!!!! BTW after miterm half my class droped including me . good luck !!!

I ended up dropping this class. Professor song was confusing and didn't give decent explanations. Her assumption that you should automatically understand because she said so is very frustrating. If you ask for further explanation she would imply that it was your job to understand. I wasn't looking for the answer, I was looking for direction.

This woman is an accounting menace. She takes an already difficult course and turns it into a nightmare. Her lectures consist of incoherent babble which results in confusion for both her and the class. If you like a challenge, take 3341 with another prof, if you like pulling your hair out, take it with Song.

Worst prof ever. Her explanations are unclear, her English is bad, and she makes mistakes constantly. Despite attending class and reading the text book, you will never feel prepared. She hasn't taught the course in 7 years and it shows. This class is tough enough without having Song to make it even harder. This woman should not be teaching. Avoid!

Intially, I thought that this professor will be horrible, because I looked at her rating. But to tell you the truth. The is pretty good. She does have an accident, but it isnt as thick as most of the asian professor at smu. She is really helpful and her classes can be very interactive. Which can make the class fun if you have friends.
