Professor Yu is hands down one of the best professors at Stonehill. His exams are not even hard. He is one of personable, entertaining, and accepting professors and never fails to make the entire class laugh. I can not say enough good things about him.

First off, this class was one of the most disorganized I've ever taken. His lectures (when they're actually related to comm and not adventures in immigrating from China) don't necessarily follow the book chapters, and the material differs, so when the test comes you don't know what to learn. Not enough interaction to make interpersonal interesting.

I took intercultural comm and loved it! He is a great professor who cares about his students. Hard work in his class pays off. Recommend to read the bk. Tests are m/c, true or false, and a couple essays. There are also group papers so try and do them ahead of time. Overall, I loved the class and highly recommend

He's a nice man (also gave him a chili pepper because he wanted one). Currently taking org. comm. with him, and have taken interpersonal with him in the past. He's a tough grader, but he's an intelligent guy, and is animated in class. Make sure you take notes, and really study for the tests. If you miss class, definitely get not

I don't care what anyone says, if you want to take a class that's unreasonable, take it with him. What may be a easy assignment turns out out to be horrible. He grades really hard and makes the easiest assignments horrible because when u get it back it turns out to be a below average grade. Sure he's a nice guy but I am not looking for a friend.

I have had him for 3 comm classes so far. I gave him a chili pepper because he said he was sad he didn't have one... You're welcome Professor Yu. Definitely take intercultural comm with him! He's really entertaining and easy and the fieldtrip to Chinatown is the best. Try not to take research methods with him though, he's really hard in that class.

i think he enjoys giving people poor grades. you'll get points off for no reason and if you ask for an explanation it will make no sense.

This dude is the man. Because why? the things he says are hilarious and the way he teaches is easy to understand. Not to mention he made a week long class with 7 hour classes bearable. He's a hard grader and he gives alot of work, but as the head of communications it's expected. "The heck with it!"

Difficult grader - Therefore tough class, but he is the funniest and most animated guy during his lectures. You can't help but like him and that makes his class fun to take. Just watch out for his tough grading style...

Nice guy but extremely tough grader. He makes a dry subject somewhat bearable with his animated lectures. He is a very comical guy but his grading style makes his class a challenge, which I didn't expect a public speaking class to be. If your up to the challenge take him.

Well. The dude had a very heavy accent -- it made it sort of difficult for us to understand him. He tried to help us to "get it..." But... Thankfully, the material he teaches his fairly easy.
