Dr. Zou is one of my favorite professors of all time. She's really caring and inspirational and sometimes throws in the occasional sarcastic look. She has made me think a lot about physics and has inspired me to be a physics professor like her. I highly recommend Dr. Zou!

Dr. Zou is an AMAZING teacher!!!! She is helps you a lot, but she has an accent. Tests are the usual, but sometimes she throws a tough one in there, which makes it fun but frustrating. I would totally recommend Dr. Zou as your good physics teacher!

She doesn't have a very organized way of writing things on the board. Combined with her accent makes it very hard to understand her. She gives out formula flow charts which helps a lot. Her hw however isn't a very good representation of what goes on tests & quizes. Would not recommend her.

What a passionate physics professor. Dr. Zou cares most about you learning the concept, the big picture, the physics. Leave behind the ridiculous math and no need for the text, this class will teach you E&M. Sometimes she struggles to find the correct word in English but stay listening. You'll leave the class with a true understanding.

I really enjoyed her class. She is very nice and enthusiastic. Although she can be a little erratic, disorganize, and draw upon bizarre analogies. Also a thick accent. Still, she's very helpful and the way she teaches makes it very easy to learn the material.

The average in this class was a 68%. The average on the final was a 55%. That said, if you study, do the homework, and attend class and labs you will pass. I failed many of the weekly quizzes, but I still got an A in the class. The final all boils down to the last couple chapters. If you understand the homework, you will do well on the quizzes.

One of the nicest, most caring college professors I've ever had. Make sure to attend class for those points, and do the homeworks on time and study the old questions. The old questions are usually only slightly different from the weekly quizzes. Highly recommended over even non-Calc Physics.

Great teacher. Definitely my favorite physics teacher. She doesn't just give you equations and expects you understand. She spends a lot of time explaining the underlying concept before she teaches you the math behind, very nice lady also. Tip: DO the home works and pay attention in lab. Her tests are homework and lab questions.

Dr. Zou is very interested in her teaching, even though her lectures can be a bit frustrating at times for students. You learn more by doing the homework very thoroughly, which is what her weekly tests are based off of, and also by attending her office hours. Labs are relatively simple and straight forward, a plus for a physics class.

Her class was completely ridiculous. She was never prepared for class. She could seldom explain any of the concepts on her own and her accent makes even the simplest terms difficult to understand. I would never take a class from her again.

Just a horrible professor, such a dissapointment compared to brialliant 4a teachers. No logical order in her class, which is the most unorganized hour of your day. Labs are even worse, you just have to hope someone in your group understands the concepts and teaches you. And the funny thing is she expects you to understand, when she is a poor prof.

Undoubtedly the worst teacher ever. Helpful in a way that is totally useless. The accent is way too hard to understand. I dont know anybody in my class who actually thought that she was good. If I hadn't done the stuff earlier, I would probably have failed. Please avoid taking her class.

This is coming from the perosn who got the highest grade in her class. So, don't think that my opinion is based on my grade. I aced the course. But, thats just becoz I studied ahead of time and had knowledge of adv.physics. Very nice person but, horrible teacher. Horrible way of teaching through labs. Does not go by book. Makes easiest stuff hard!
