The biggest predictor of success in Risbuds class is past exposure to the material. Lectures are slightly unclear, extremely fast, and if you miss one detail, good luck with your project. If you ask him to repeat material, hell laugh and ask for a more specific question. Lots of time consuming projects. Doesnt return graded work. Unpleasant.

Fair. Discussions of project work resemble work done in actual industry, put care in your documentation and be prepared to justify/discuss mistakes and decisions. Pay attention in class, and the exams shouldn't be difficult. Be careful with time - don't try to fulfill all of the extra credit requirements for every project.

You'll probably either love or hate DLD with Risbud. His teaching style is pretty much introducing concepts while you figure out yourself their applications (with no shortage of sarcasm and chalk throwing!). Very harsh if you don't meet deadlines on your circuit, and his projects are very time consuming. Tests are difficult but don't really matter.
