Comment:

Professor Wang is well prepared for class. There is homework and a quiz every week. Professor Wang gives review guides before exams. There are two exams and a cumulative final. He is clear on what to expect on the final. The only thing that is difficult is that Professor Wang has an accent and it is difficult to understand him.

I am not good at math. At all. This class was difficult for me, but he is very formulated in his classes. Open with a quiz about the previous weeks material, lecture on two sections, end with an in class assignment over what was just discussed (open book). For the tests he gives a full packet of problems and answers from which he makes the test.

Very tough professor. Spent 5 hours a week studying for his class. Still nearly impossible. Very frustrating but he will reach out to you to try and help.

This algebra class wasn't too bad, but I am good at math and like algebra. Going to class is a must because there is daily quizzes and his lessons are helpful to learning the material. Homework is done online so you will need to pay extra for the program because it is mandatory to pass. Buying the book isn't a must, he prints the pages for you.

I was a transfer student coming from another university. I had taken stats earlier, but they messed up my credits and accidentally put me in a lower math class. I did not mind. This class was the first course I have ever failed in my entire life. He doesn't speak english well, and grades unfairly. Not very helpful with questions either. awful.

This guy is not sensitive to students nor knowing how to teach. Grades completely based on exams and quizzes. He assigns homework but doesn't collect them nor grade them. Attendance is mandatory and he takes attendance based on if you did the quiz. So.. if you got zero on all the quizzes, it's the same as no attendance grade.

I took numerical analysis with Prof. Wang and he did a great job teaching it from refresher on caculus to the numerical methods. He knows his material quite well and conveys the information accurately.

This teacher really should not be teaching. Its clear that he knows Math, yes, but he does not know how to properly teach others. He does not have a clear approach or structure to his lectures. Its extremely erratic, fast-paced, and without reason. This course ended up being dropped by me at a loss of big $ due to language barrier also.

He lacks ability to get the lessons across to the students. He goes all over the place. He doesn't stay focused. He lacks structure. I ended up spending the time teaching myself while sitting in his class, since attendance was required.

I've taken all his ACSC classes. He's not a bad prof. He actually cares for the students. While not always great at explaining at things, and tends to sometimes spend too long to explain something simple as 1+1, his handouts / lecture notes are VERY organized and SO easy to read. Sample problems and HW solutions are quite helpful for the exams.

Absoultely awful teacher. His explanations are chaotic and not easy to follow. His personality is rude and he likes to make students feel lower than him. If possible do NOT take this class with him, you will regret it.
