Dr. Kang is the best teacher I've ever had at Iona. She is exceptionally fair and is so willing to help her students. She makes learning the material fun because she gets so into it! I will be taking her class again and I cannot wait. She is very knowledgable and explains exactly what is necessary for the tests. She is also great in lab. TAKE HER!

Dr. Kang's Cell Biology class helped me tremendously in grad school as much as I hated the workload while taking the class. Tests are difficult. Her notes are very thorough; use textbook to supplement notes. Study well and you will do well.

Dr. Kang is a great professor and a very valuable asset to Iona. Her lectures can be very dragged out, but the material that she goes over in lecture is guaranteed to be what's on the exams. Her tests are tough, but if you attend lecture, take good notes, and complete the study guide she gives before each exam there is no reason to not do well.

the bad reviews are from non-sci majors. she knows her stuff, is very detailed. just study the review sheets for the tests, and it's fine. she's also available ALL THE TIME in her office - i've gone three times in a day! She also makes class fun and informal.

Its Biochemistry: its going to be hard. Shes really approachable in and out of class. she tries really hard to make her classes enjoyable, informal, and very thorough. She gives alot of work: labs, HW reports etc. but its all for your benefit. alot of information of tests so start studying early. gives great review sheets for tests!! :)

Highly recommend her. She is very approachable and quite helpful. A few quizes(all easy and from notes), a midterm, & a final. Study notes AND exact details of labs. Easy if youre willing to study. She helped my bio grade big time. I went out of my way to take her again this semester.
