Professor is hard to understand but overall the book and homework is a great for practice before the test. Never miss a class or homework or you will not be able to skip the final. Do the field trip, not fun but easier than doing a solo presentation for 10 minutes. Lecture and homework heavy, but chegg is not the answer. Chegg has wrong answers!

I don't see why people are complaining that she goes too fast. Yes, she doesn't spend a long time on each concept but 90% of this class is just a review of physics 1. She's hilarious, explains things in an intuitive way, and the exam questions are very similar to homework and class examples so you know exactly what to expect. Final is optional.

Not good at teaching but if you know the basics from high school physics you will pass easy. Do all homework and show up to all classes and she'll make the final optional. 3 exams are 4 questions each, sometimes from book. Lectures are long and boring and almost all homework answers are online

She teaches straight off a PDF, is very hard to understand, doesn't work through any examples whatsoever on the board, and to top it all off she is very rude in her office hours. On an exam question I had the right method and answer, but she marked it incorrect just because I had no time to erase my original wrong method and answer. AVOID HER!!!

Rushes through basically everything. Maybe gives one example on each concept and then does it half way before moving on. It's easy to learn from anywhere else, which is where you have to learn everything from. Also constantly tapping on the board.

She's a great professor. Always available. Just pay attention, do your homework and you will be fine in her class. 3 quizzes and a final (Not Cumulative). Extra credits for your homework. Ideal class if you want to improve your GPA. Highly recommended professor.

Prof Ding is a fair teacher. She gives you homework every time there is class, never more than 5-7 problems. If you know how to do the homework problems you are guaranteed an A. Her exams are usually 3-4 problems and are almost identical to the homework. Class is a bit boring, but she is the best and easiest teacher to take for Mech 237...

Shes so easy and so helpful and the course moves so slowly and the material is almost identical to physics 1. you better get an A in this class. The homework is 1 hour per week and study time for each exam is about an hour and a half, the test problems are easier than the homeworks. plus, she looks damn good in those little pant suits

Oh my gosh I love this woman...If you fail her you suck at engineering...heck you suck at life...college wasn't meant to be this easy...the pace of this class is so slow you have to be trying to fall behind...take her before everyone else does

Yeah I definately agree with you, how could you not get an A in this class. I never even opened up the book until the night before the exams, and aced all of them, easiest Mech class ever!!! Dings tests are great, she gives you the most basic problems, if you can't pass her you should consider looking into another field of study.
