One of the best teachers I have ever come across. Courteous, kind, and compassionate, she gives very good lectures and constantly asks whether you have understood everything, and her class is an excellent avenue to both learn and discuss everything you want to learn about the subject. Take her class and become a better student as well as human.

This class is a little more interesting than it actually sounds. ACTUALLY READ THE ASSIGNED READINGS - it will be REALLY helpful for the class discussions, and the more you participate, the better you look. Videos in class are not all super-interesting, but are certainly amusing. Prof. Cheng is always extremely helpful and understanding.

she is a really sweet lady, she can be hard to understand, and she covers a lot in each class. As long as you don't mind taking notes and do a lot of reading, and nod no when she says "do i confuse you!?" or "do i talk too much?" you will like her class

Dr. Cheng is possibly my favorite teacher at MMC. Motivated, extremely knowledgeable, and very funny to boot, she's one of the reasons I decided not to transfer out... if you want to learn anything about E. Asia here at Marymount, Dr. Cheng is your woman.
