Samson is a great professor. Sociology is tricky, but she tries to help. Attendance is mandatory because she gives a lot of oral information that isn't on the PowerPoints. This class was hard work, but I suggest you take it with her. She's great!

Dr.Samson is a very enthusiastic and funny teacher. I really enjoyed her class. Some of the readings are difficult to understand but she is willing to make them as clear as possible for you if you just ask. Principals of Sociology was one of my favorite classes so far!

Samson is a good teacher; however, she is very difficult! This is not a gen ed class that you want to take if you are looking for an easy A. There are only 2 tests and a final in the small lecture class. I would recommend taking her mass lecture if possible. Very interesting class though.

Prof Samson is a wonderful teacher, she is so enthusiastic. She is not an easy a or b for that matter, but her class is worth it. make sure you read the book and when you have a test make sure, when answering essay questions, you put in every bit of knowledge you have on that subject, and ALWAYS give your opinion!

Dr. Samson goes through powerpoints and adds interesting and funny examples so you are sure to understand. Tests are short answer mostly, checking to make sure you understand. Dr Samson is awesome. I think her classes are interesting, and shes helpful because she posts them on blackboard. She gets the class involved and uses alot of real-life examples. She is very down to earth. I would reccomend taking her class!

Interesting teacher, knows her stuff. A lot of class disscussion. Dr. Samson does seem to use powerpoint a lot, it gets boring. Read the book!! Everything on the papers is from it, not really from the notes so much.

great professor, because unlike some of the easy classes i have taken ive done better in hers because its challenging and she wants all of her students to think logically about what she proposes not just agree with her, she only grade bad on your opinions if they werent justified with facts or argumentive statements. by the way she is very funny

I loved her! She's nice and willing to help! She didn't give multiple choice tests which was a plus for me! There really aren't any wrong answers on short answer questions!
