Dr. Tong was kind, funny, and even inspirational at times. While he was a great person, you might find his class if you havent taken Calc before. He doesnt use blackboard at all so you dont know your grade until after finals, and even if you ask him before then, hell just guess your grade based on your exam scores. Tests are very long and hard

I really like Dr. Tong. He explains things clearly and somehow makes hard problems simple. However, he'll take points off your grade if you miss class, and the lectures are important for success.

The only reason he is sometimes hard to understand is bc of his accent, but other than that he is great at explanations and helping you. He makes math more bearable and entertaining, and his enthusiasm and care for every one of his students shows. Not the easiest class, but thats the material, I'm glad hes the one who taught it.
