Bit of a grumpy man when interacting with students. Usually shows up a few minutes late and holds class over several minutes. Average at actually conveying information. Grade determined by 4 exams and a few quizzes.

Beware taking this professor. Clearly very smart, but is often slow to get to the point, if at all. You are completely left in the dark about the grading scale and your current grade until after finals, which just compounds stress. He has a nice curve and generous scale to make up for the incomplete teaching, but would not take again.

Lecture goes overtime everyday(suppose to end on 45 but continues till 50 is a common cases everyday), it is not too boring but the grades are still (--.--) even when the finals are taken already, no grades uploaded on canvas throughout the entire semester, great professor and teaching us with humor and kind and willing to help but could donebetter

Class was graded entirely by 3 quizzes and 4 exams. Homework is assigned but not collected or graded. Lectures can get very boring, but his expectations are clear so it's easy to do well as long you go to class and pay attention. Difficulty goes up about 3 weeks before finals.

Great professor. Very caring and funny. Will often keep you over in class, but he welcomes you to leave if you have things to attend. Teaches clearly and tests are quite easy. Big grading curve right of the bat with an easier grading scale (ex. 87% is still an A)

Miller is an extremely tough teacher. I mean this in the nicest way possible, but his voice is extremely hard to tolerate. Your final grade is composed of 4 exams that are not similar to the ridiculous amount of optional homework that he assigns. He's also not helpful when asked questions. Our class always went over by 15 mins. Do not recommend.

His voice makes you fall asleep in class. HW is where you actually learn. In a 75min class, he takes 10min in review materials from before, 50min going over 2 hw questions, and last 15min teaching the new material. He always goes slow with hw but rushes when teaching new material because of lack of time. He never once let us out on time.

Three midterms and one final exam make up entire final grade. Lots of homework assigned but he does not grade or collect it. If you can do all the examples and problems worked in class you will do well on exams. He said there would be pop quizzes which would be taken into account if you had a borderline grade. We never had such a quiz.

Always explains things very clearly, and relates everything to real life. I slept through an exam once, and he was very much willing to work with me and let me take it later that day. Homework is not collected.

Really smart guy. Assign homework but never let you turn it in. Studying the homework and study guide is helpful for the exams. Do not take attendance.

His voice is the most monotone and boring thing that will ever insult your ears. I literally can't stay awake during his class. He doesn't grade homework so your grade is solely dependent on quizes and tests, If you can manage to stay awake in class, the tests and quizes aren't super bad and he holds the class over almost everyday.

Held the class long just about every day, and rarely gave a complete overview of the material on the daily homework prior to the end of class. Grading was done based on relative standing in the class, which was punitive in an honors class where half of the class made above a 90% on exams. Overall, this professor was disappointing.

Good guy who cares about his students but extremely boring. Each class consists of him reviewing the concept discussed the day before, doing 1-2 example problems which take up about 30 minutes of a 55 minute class, and then cramming in a new concept in the last 10-15 minutes of class, often running up to 10 min over. 4 tests make up your grade.

Goes through material pretty slowly with a focus on the conceptual parts of problems. spends half of class, at least, going over homework problems. Overall, a pretty reasonable teacher.

The homework is optional but it's the only way you'll learn. Tests aren't too bad if you do the work. When he "teaches" during class it takes him half the class period to teach something. By this point you've already started thinking about how shoving a pencil in your ear is more exciting. He posts the work online so you really don't have to attend

Miller understands the material but doesn't teach very well. The class is mixture of rambling and rushing at the end to fit in examples that are "crucial" for the class. Miller goes over by 8 mins a day. Over all, I would not want to take a class with him again.

Great teacher! Really explains things at a reasonable pace and easy to understand. He always does a quick review of yesterday's material and goes over homework from the night before. Tries to keep class intersting with some lame jokes. Only grades are from exams and quizzes. I would take him again.

Great teacher. A little strange but tries to make class interesting. The only thing he counts towards your grade is exams and quizzes so its up to you to go to class everyday and do homework. You can get away with barely doing homework as long as you make it to class 4 out 5 days. If you study for the exams/go to the review sessions you'll do well

Ugh Zevi. Nice guy and pretty knowledgeable. His class is poorly structured in that homework, nor attendance is required. This is a problem because he is SO BORING. The most boring professor I've taken, regardless of subject material. This man could make a class on light saber battles boring.

Not a bad teacher. He knew his stuff but wasn't always clear with it. He was pretty generous when it came to grading exams.
