I had this prof in 2002, when she was fresh out of grad school and I a freshman. She was brilliant and I new nothing. Now, a lawyer, I practice my job and live my life inspired by her passion, compassion and integrity. I am still haunted by our conversation about Schopenhauer during her office hour.

If you're going to talk, better know what you're saying. She is sometimes rude in response to people talking in class, which can be discouraging. She encourages students to think and essays have no prompts, have to come up with it on your own.

She was so mean to me and everytime I would go and ask her to help she would either reply with a snooty answer or make me fee like I was absolute trash... she had her favorites and if you didnt speak in class you sucked.. and even if you did try and sometimes were wring she would make you feel bad about it
