Zoe is such an amazing prof! If you get the chance definitely take a class with her, she makes everything really interesting. I got so much out of her class and can't wait to hopefully find another one she is teaching for next semester.

She knows her stuff but is not a very engaging speaker. She doesn't have control of the class and her weird temper is distracting. TA for this class didn't help. She was horrible, named Yan. Proficiency in the English language would be appreciated.

Doesn't allow electronic devices in class, and will KICK OUT STUDENTS for something as small as texting in class. Treats students like children, by providing extremely strict 'guidelines' for each assignment. Heavy, heavy workload,was a difficult course, despite the interest i had in the subject.

Ok prof. But the structure of her course needs some work. It dies not help us students, it's extremely rigid and she and her ta's don't take our busy schedules into account. Her teaching is good, nd interesting enough, but she really needs better ta's. The TA ruined this course for me.ruined it.

My favourite prof ever. She's brilliant. Only A+ I got during my undergrad. Her lectures are dense, but if you're interested in the subject matter, that's a good thing. And she's super cute too!

Holy smokes! This class was HARD!!!! Like what most of you said, the lects were pretty interesting, but the TAs ruined the course. They were extremely unhelpful and disrespectful. If you said anything wrong during tutorial, the TA will point at you and say "YOU ARE WRONG". Right in front of the whole class! Good Class... VERY VERY BAD TAs!

Interesting lectures and tonnes of information were given out during lecture so attending class is a must. When it comes to essay, she and her TAs are definitely the hardest marker in the faculty, really bias and if we don't write in the way she or her TAs expected, very very low grade would be received.

Zoe is a truly great professor and she is extremely helpful outside of class. She delivers insightful lectures, complete with extremely relevant media samples. I loved this class. However, going to tutorials was torture and I can always count on the TA to be confusing in both her teachings AND marking. Take this class to learn, but expect poor mark

One of the MOST interestingn class in the cmns department!! Prof is awsome, very interesting lecture..must go!! However, her assignemnts were REALLY REALLY hard. I thought the marking scheme was VERY UNFAIR.

Zoe is by far the best professor Ive ever had, even amongst other departments. She is very helpful in and outside of lecture, and her lectures are always interesting. Through her obvious passion for her work she can make any dry material very interesting. Definately an amazing woman.

She makes each class very interesting, often using videos or picture slides to complement her lecture, yet when it comes time for essay writing and her final exam, the questions were too difficult, and her T.A.s mark too hard. She gives A LOT of information at each lecture, so make sure you attend! The book and CCW have complex texts to follow.

Druik, is a great prof. I actually haven't fallen asleep in the class! Druik is able to make course concepts relatively easy to understand. In addition, she is pretty approachable. Good course, good class!
