I have taken 2 classes with Bedy and both times enjoyed it. He is the best kind of professor b/c he doesnt hold your hand and creates real life situations, he is easy to get ahold of, if you try. He has always been willing to answer even my most ridiculous of questions. Take a class with him if you want to succeed in the real world

Alright, I do not have this guy for an actual class but he is my advisor. This is completely nonbiased in any way. If this guy is your advisor, switch to someone like graeff of kobland immediately. He will not help you at all. I am switching my advisor as we speak. Can't believe it's taken me 3 semesters to do so.

you don't learn anything, you never have class. so if this is ur major take it from some one else, if ur just looking for an easy good grade this is the teacher. there is some HW but ur grade is mostly 3 take home testes and a big project and an interview paper.

I took his class online over the winter break. I think he went on vacation because he never graded and gave back work on time. When we followed the assignment example he sends back his comments and what he wanted doesn't look anything like the sample he gave us. I've tried contact him about help via email and phone and so far nothing.

Awful professor! Not very helpful at all. Very arrogant and rarely shows up to class....however you better be there or he will drop your grade drastically! I would not recommend his classes but if you are a PR major you have no choice but to deal with him!

He is awful..Rarely shows up on time if he shows up at all.He has a super laid back but when it comes to grading he is a total stickler. I learned very little from him. The com department needs to invest in someone who wants to be and actually teach.He is useless!

He doesn't actually hand graded papers out til the end of the semester, making it very difficult to find out which areas you need to work on. Attendence is mandatory, even though he hardly shows up and has his TA do all the work. He tries to be funny, but it gets old quick.

If your degree is public relations you have to take him at least twice, COM 415/Com 416, my advice after having him, do not get a degree in public relations. He is a horrible teacher. He does not explain ANYTHING!!!, I mean ANYTHING!!! He is a strange person, strange unhelping teaching. Please I know what I am talking about. Please listen to me....

Doesn't know anything about the program he's supposed to be teaching. Relies on TA to explain everything. Interupted class at least 3x to answer his phone. Spends 1/2 hour of every class wandering the halls, getting coffee instead of teaching. I see no reason for him to be collecting a paycheck because he hasn't done anything to earn it!

Bedy has been my advisor since my sophomore year. He's always been there when I've needed him. Best way to communicate with him is via email. Make appointments and talk to him about whatever is bothering you. He is receptive when you make an effort, but he won't hold your hand.

I've taken 4 classes + he's my advisor, so if you're PR, you've just got to learn to live with him. He's not going to babysit you. He expects that (like in the real world) you're going to be able to complete your projects with minimal intervention from superiors. Don't be shy; in order for him to know & like you, you've got to make yourself known.

He is the laziest professor I've ever had. He cancels class more than he has class. He leaves you guessing on your grade because he doesn't hand anything back. When u ask for help he refuses. His idea of a lecture is telling us a joke, giving us an unclear assignment + sending us out the door. Then he tells us how awful we did on it. Bad prof.
