He's a terrible teacher. He cannot teach during class very well. His lessons are confusing, and he often stares at problems for minutes at times because he does not know how to solve the problem yet. He makes tests 90% homework, and gives some extra credit. This seems like a plus, but its only there to help his class grade average not be too low.

Mr Zurita is soft spoken but as long as you pay attention he is likely the best math teacher you will ever have. He makes the subject very easy to understand and the homework manageable. Stay organized and you will love this class

it was my first class since i came to the US and it was the best, he was wel informed and serious but i noted that most of the students here are so lazy, they complain a lot and come late or are always absent,if you are that person don't waste your time because this guy is focused and strict but very good. I recommend to serious, students!

Don't take this class if you are not good at math, you will have no chance. He has a survival of the fittest attitude and the fastest in the class set the pace everyone else catch up or fail. This class is not for people who are just trying to get past algebra, it is for those who want a challenge and to spend hours at the math lab catching up

This teacher was not helpful. At times, I could hardly hear him. He was boring and not very helpful. However, he gave a lot of extra credit oppurtunities, but I still began to struggle. I'm not good at math and he was far from helpful. I should of dropped the first two weeks when I saw that it would be hard! If you're not good at math, stay away.

He is one of the easiest teachers I've ever taken in RCC.. It helped that I love Math, but he is an easy teacher I don't understand why people complain. If you do all the homework and study for the test you will be fine :) (but really study).

He is NOT an easy teacher, you have to work your ass off more so than usual to get a good grade from him! Speak up if youre frustrated and hell work with you, especially if the whole class is too - he even held outside study groups twice. Though hes really smart and youll learn a lot, hes not very patient. PS go to the math lab, you get points :-)

Most difficult math class during my time at RCC. Be aware of his attendance requirements. At first, he really rubs students the wrong way. His grading scale for exams was really unclear and at times seemed biased. Just communicate with him after class and show an interest in the material and he'll give you an edge.

Mr Zurita was...interesting. His methods of grading are a bit strict, and point values of assignments are a little unclear. Overall, he was pretty average teaching wise. He just picks a few problems to do as examples but doesn't really explain. He is a nice man though.

His class was kind of difficult, but he's a pretty good teacher, though he does have an accent. A lot of people complain about his rules, but if you actually care about learning and school. Overall though, he's very nice and thorough, if you actually try.

Mr. Zurita is a really nice guy who is also super smart. He does have an accent, but if you go to class you can understand it after the first day. If you don't understand something, he is so easy to talk to and he can explain anything. Do all the HW to pass the class!

Got an A. If you want to learn and try in his class, then take him and get a good grade. If you are going to talk, not pay attention, and be late, then get a bad grade and write untrue ratings on this site. Not hard to understand, and is funny sometimes.Take him as a last resort. Most students that go to Rbdx RCC campus could care less about education.

He is very hard to understand. He doesn't explain the problems. He goes so quickly through the subject that you don't catch anything. There is an obvious language barrier. All around, not a very good teacher. If you can, take Mulari instead.

this guy sucks! he may be a math genius but he has ZERO communications skills. just put it this way, he is not a people person. his accent is so thick you cant understand him and even if you can he speaks with his back toward you. if you have a question he is inconsiderate and creates rules for the class like its kindergarten. not a good teacher

Don't do it. I sat in the front the whole semester and still couldn't hear anything he was saying. If you're not good at teaching yourself don't take him. He doesn't explain anything, just does a few problems and sends you off. I had points taken off my exam cos i didn't solve it his way even though we had the same answer
