Mitra goesover absolutely nothin in class. He just randomlytalks about things and gives quizes that are impossible.Tests aresorta easy tho cuz they are exactly the same questions as the quizes so u just gotta memorize them. Quizesdont realy count tho which is good and you dont even gotta show up for class. Hespretty funny too but a terrible teacher

hmm where to start.. this guy is def one of a kind you will definitely laugh at him, four words you will remember forever: "do you follow me". he is a great guy and knows a lot but i dont recommend him as a teacher he is not available for help outside of class and his accent is so strong. he is funny though

Prior to this class i loved chem, but Mitra somehow found a way to ruin it for me. His quizes are incredibly unfair, my most recent two are a both 4/20. His lectures are hard to follow as he constly goes off topic. In class he'll go over 1 question, then test you on 4 not even found in the textbook. I strongly suggest you look into other classes

Mitra is one of those profesors that is so smart that when he lectures he is just talking and not teaching. I highly recommend no one to take this class. He laughs at his own jokes. He has a strong accent and gets very affended if you "dont understand him" Horrible teacher!

terrible teacher, does not explain clearly. ask him to repeat cause you don't understand and he makes you feel like a worthless piece of garbage. always makes mistakes when doing problems on the bored. why hasn't MC just gotten rid of him. oh and he makes slick comments, some are kind of offensive.

His tests are based all on notes given in class. Sounds easy but the format is fill in the blank, which basically means you have to memorize the notes. Yeah, thats right, word for word. Not fun at all. Is also very hard to understand. Averaged a D but lab brought me to a C. Overall, hard class.

He teaches the material but not how to use the material in the homework. i went to him for extra help and he yelled at me when i asked him to help me. I asked him to explain something different way so i could understandit better and he refused. Its like he wants to be called a professor but do as little as possible to actually teach you anything.

nice guy. simple guy. bad jokes, but you will still laugh.. if not at his jokes, but def. at him. its an OK class. you dont learn much.. but if you need to learn something you really dont rely on college professors. now do you? there are expections to this rule.. but not him.

If you are a premed and/or a chem major who needs this material in order to do well on the mcat/ advanced chem courses, then avoid Mitra because you won't learn much. However, if you want a relatively easy A then take him, get the solutions guide, and memorize the answers for the homework questions he assigns (tests come exactly from the homework).

He was alright at the beginning, review was awesome for his first exam..then his reviews went downhill. started to mess up the info alot and theres no book so its hard to check info out for yourself. doesnt seem to care about labs. thinks hes funny sometimes when hes not. ok class for bus majors.

The tests questions come from the homework, I had him for the 6-9 class and he let us out at least an hour early every time. he gives alot of homework but if you get the answers guide for the text ull be fine. The final was cut and paste from the first two tests... mad easy and it was curved.

One of the worse professors at Manhattan College he even makes the Physics faculty look better... I would die before I ever take one of his class. Unfair grader...exams are not related to things covered in class... very unhelpful. Has favorites will give you an A if you kiss his a**. NEVER TAKE HIM!

Mitra is cool--tests are kinda easy..no book to buy-Topics is the best course to take for a sci req. for bus majors..you have to go to class cuz there is no book. Tests are FILL IN
