Great professor. Funny caring guy. The assignments are very time consuming, so i'd suggest you establish a good group to study with from the start. You learn how to create entity relational databases, normalize tables, use sql code to create and query, how database are stored, and how to optimize queries.

I took this online course during winter 2017 semester so it was only 2 weeks long and online. The professor covers lots of materials but he provides instructional videos that were very helpful. He was available every day until 10 pm for phone calls & questions. I recommend this course!!

one of the best professors Ive ever had. straightforward in explaining, able to follow long winded questions from students, and flexible/wants his students to succeed and learn the material. wish i had been able to take another class with this guy.

No tests! Group projects all semester that he didn't want us to really work on outside of class. Definitely worth it!

He makes frequent errors with his code examples. If somebody in the class doesnt catch him, you basically memorize the wrong way to write a part of a program and you're left clueless on how to actually program correctly. Refer to his powerpoints because his lecture can throw you off due to his mistakes

Hadaegh is a great teacher, he understands computer science and knows how to explain it to students. The homework for 211 is pretty straight-forward and he gives you a lot of the code for them. Biggest complaint was the method of turning in homework -- physically printing out your 10+ page program.

Very challenging class, but Dr. Hadaegh is a great teacher. All you have to do is show up and pay attention during lecture instead of chatting on Facebook. If you cannot pass with at least a C and you are computer science major, then you are going to have a difficult time in the future since the concepts you learn here are key in future courses.

He is extremely unprepared for class. Slow at providing info. You have to contact him multiple times b/c he doesn't respond the 1st time. Easiest online class I have ever taken, but annoying b/c he is not on top of it.

Maybe this just isn't his cup of tea. He read the powerpoint slides included with the textbook to us and didn't seem to understand them, contradicted himself frequently, and left us to fend for ourselves when learning LISP and Prolog. Cannot recommend and don't think he has any business teaching this course.

For me this class was a bit difficult, but every time I had a question he was available to help me. He even allowed me to re-do my assignments throughout the semester and in the end allowed the whole class to re-do any assignments. No online discussions, even though it's an online class. I'd say really easy class and great professor!

Very nice teacher, he takes the time to do detailed examples of things instead of just yelling at us to do it right. His accent and slightly broken English aren't a problem with comprehensibility.

This was the easiest A I've ever gotten, but I learned a lot from this class. He's a good professor that is always there to answer your questions. He understands the pressures of being a college student and is forgiving on late assignments. Do not buy the textbooks, you'll never use them. Seriously.

One assignment per week is easy because the online notes given by him are step-by-step. If you can follow directions, easy A. Seriously, do not buy the books- nobody ever used them. Midterm and Final were easier than the assignments. He does have a heavy accent, so sometimes he is hard to understand.

This teacher is very cool! DO not spend $ on the books req. All you need is given to you in class. Blender website helps w/ it all! You don't have to go to class and you can work from home. DO go when it is close to midterms + final because he will review what you need to know. VERY AWESOME + Helpful. No comp skills required just the basics.

He presented the material very clearly and had plenty of examples for difficult concepts. It was very clear that he has a love for the subject matter. He was always available for questions even outside of his normal office hours. I've had him for several classes before and have enjoyed every one of them.

Best CS teacher at CSUSM. Really knows his stuff. Great sense of humor. Very helpful if you ask for help. Lectures are PowerPoints. No textbook was required. All homework and test material came from PowerPoint lectures. Looking forward to his Adv DB class.

Excellent teacher. Very clear and understanding. Eager to help and will work with you at every step by email. Helped me greatly when I ran into problems. Lectures were essentially the exact same as the powerpoints, so it was sometimes hard to come to class. Overall, fantastic CS teacher. He's the best I've had thus far at Cal State.
