By far the worst teacher I've ever had. Instructions were unclear, grading was unfair, and he disappeared for 3 weeks (6 week class) and didn't grade anything. Impossible to contact by email and never responds to texts in an ONLINE class. Last 4 days he added 2 projects. Got a 0 on a project cause he didn't grade it. I'm a 3.9 student and I got a C

Alan tends to help only one or two students in the class per semester, ones he seems to tolerate, the rest need to figure it out on their own. I was one of the few who could get help from him when I needed it and even I didn't care for him. Not personable and inflexible in allowing students to find their personal style.

Montgomery was a horrible teacher. He preaches the copy and exactness of work over creativity. He thinks he is the greatest artist that has even been born. He tries to force his style on students rather than letting them find their own artist pressence. Simply put.... I hated every moment of class.
