I took him in the fall and he explains the problems very well. If you have any questions he'll answer them. Gives no homework. Drops lowest test score. Gives partial credit on answers for test even if you wrote nothing. He really wants everyone to pass.

I loved taking his class, he is pretty laid back and sweet . If you ask questions he takes time to explain until you get it. Open book quizzes and leaves example questions on board for you to look at. If you pay attention there is no way you can fail. Thank God for Professor Stillson :) Take him, you will not regret it.

I took Professor Stillson Spring 2015. He was such a good Professor, he explains everything that you need to know. Collects Homework after every Test. Test are every 2 weeks . He leaves 10 example problems on the board to guide you during your test. He sings math songs with formulas that are easy for you to remember. You have to Take Him!

Amazing professor. Very, very sweet and really cares about students. Perfect for students who do not excel in math. Very clear. All quizzes are open note and you don't turn in your homework until the very end of the semester. Grade is based mostly on quizzes. Relatively easy class, but you have to try for an A.

I hate math WITH A PASSION. However, Mr. Stillson explains it in a way where everyone can understand Plus he is a Native English Speaker! Class consists of Daily Homework (which you can do in class) quizzes (which he goes over similar questions beforehand) and a Final. TIP 1.Dont miss quizzes 2.Ask Questions! He will clarify doubts!I recommend him!

Thank you Mr Stillson for getting me through Math 131. This professor is worth taking. He gives homework and will work out all the problems in class. Next, you can ask questions on all that you don't understand (in class). He also gives reviews for the upcoming quizzes (no surprises. This prof TOOK the stress out of Math 131. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

He is the BEST teacher if you have re-take Math 125 over again! He makes math make sense and I am NOT good at math but I got an A! He wants everyone to pass, and he is extremely helpful to all of his students. He gives partial credit on tests and extra credit! You have to try really hard to fail this class, because it is very easy to get an A or B.

Mr. Stillson is a great teacher. He is very professional and has excellent teaching skills. I had a hard time with math, however, he made it a lot easier for me to understand. Yes he goes a little fast, but he will go over the topics if requested. Mr. Stillson has a large base fan at PCC it is growing day by day. He Rocks!!!!

As long as you do your part, show up for class, turn in your homework, and demonstrate an effort in learning the subject Mr. Stillson is fair! He understands that Math doesn't come easy for everyone and his goal is not to fail his students. He does lecture fast, however, if you ask him to go over it again he will. Mr. Stillson is the best thing to happen to math. I got all Ds and Fs in math in HS but with Stillsons help I was able to pull off a B. Easy quizzes, extra credit, easy homework. He doesnt even care if you leave early. He writes his own songs about math and sings them for class with his little tape recorder. He is a real treasure.

I never understood any algebra and hated math classes..... until God sent me Professor Stillson!! Gift from heaven this guy. Has a cute NY accent and is soooo laid back. Very helpful. Easy 10 qt open note tests and homework is due at the end of the semester!! I love Math now! Would take him for every class if I could!!

He is great! Very nice and wants you to do well. There is a quiz per chapter plus extra credit plus final. There is no midterm. Just bi-weekly quizes. His grading system makes it so that as long as you try you will pass.

He was a little fake. He was helpfull, but I senced attitude sometimes. He was completely inflexible, took all of his examples from the book, gave us EVEN numbered homework problems so we couldn't check. I had an extreme family emergency and had to miss a quizz and he would not let me make it up. One student couldn't make the final and he EMAIL
