Intermediate acting. All you do is One duet scene, Biologue, and one final scene. You have a ton of time to get stuff done. Don't put stuff off till the last minute, especially the Biologues. Biologues are the big thing in the class, they seem very scary but just do your research and relax, and go have fun. Another good Oster class.

I took beginning acting with him. Be ontime to class, and try your hardest and he'll help you out. If you don't try/act like you're better than everyone else, he pretty much hates you. He treats the class like a high school class which is really annoying, but if you put effort into it, you'll become a better actor in the end.

Don't listen to what alot of people have to say about him. They will say he is very intimidating when actually he is a very understanding guy. He knows his theatre and acting and is very helpful when giving notes about your perfomances. He is very big on respect so whatever you do, DO NOT BE LATE TO HIS CLASS!!! OR MISS CLASS!!!! so, GO TO CLASS!!

Oster is very intresting to have for a beginning acting teacher. I found his ways very helpful for character development. I have learned so much from him so far. Dont take what he says to you personally. That is to say, if he pokes fun at you or teases you, dont think twice about it. He means no harm. Hes nothing to be scared of.

He is very interesting to work with, though he is very particular, he is a excellant director. I did not like the summer rep program, but that does not reflect him as a director. Nothing would ever make me take Summer rep ever again.
