Professor Zhuplev had a lot of funny stories and antidotes to share during class discusssions, so it wasnt all dry. Most class times he just went over the powerpoints already accessible on Blackboard. His tests are really hard and make sure to get a good group for the final project (you have to pick early). Helpful during office hours too.

He truly cares about your success in the course and encourages you to seek help if you need it. The lectures are pretty dry. His tests are hard and making a study guide is essential to success on his exams. The group project is pretty involved so pick a good group and a topic you'll enjoy.

Went for consultations during office hours and always benefited from it. We even skyped @ 10:00pm on a Friday night to go over my final project. An uncanny, charming mix of humor and thorough teaching. There's still a few weeks left in school and I'm already writing this positive of a review, I think you all get the gist...

Great guy, good professor. Lectures are dry, the group project is SUPER IMPORTANT, but he's there to help. Tips: EVERYTHING IS TESTED ON ranging from video clips to research resources; pay more attention to what he says versus what's on the slide; and READ THE TEXT BOOK.

I like this professor as a person, which made this class much better to sit through. His lectures are full of interesting, relevant examples. Regardless, maybe it's the accent, but the lectures still feel dry. The group project was extensive, so plan ahead and pick a good group. Seriously.

He is so nice and definitely wants you to succeed, but this class was made WAY harder than needed. Even the best students did poorly on his exams and the final was brutal. Half the material wasn't even related to the textbook. Spare your GPA and self esteem and take someone else.

He may be a hard grader and expect you to do well, but he's helpful during office hours and was my favorite professor this semester because he's so nice, caring, and jolly! We had one test and a few group projects (the final project is a big assignment), take home final. He has a big heart - take this professor!

he tries to accomplish too much. the cases and videos are interesting but we often run out of time. the midterm wasn't that bad and the final was a take home. he can be a bit tough on his grading when it comes to papers and projects. but i learned a lot in his class and he is very nice.

Accent hard to understand so you need to pay attention 100% of time in class. Case studies and videos sometimes outdated to meet an ever-changing international business climate. Not the best teacher, but not the worst either- somewhere in-between.

This guy is awesome. He's hilarious. Class gets a bit slow, but you really learn a lot. Uses TONS of examples so you can imagine the concepts in real life. Found the tests relatively easy - multiple choice! Except the final. Really cares about his students and has faith in them. Also very flexible. Willing to give the extra time :)

This guy is the coolest guy on campus. he is funny, and really kind. I seriously wish that i was related to him. his lectures are kind of boring, and you basically have to read the powerpoints and the book yourself to do well on the tests. but he is the nicest/most awesome guy on campus

Dr. Zhuplev is simply incredible. He is very intelligent, hardworking and organized. His drive inspires me. I took the option of working on a research project for him and had a chance to get well acquainted with him. If you are looking for an easy class look elsewhere, but take him if you want to learn international business. An amazing professor.

This class was horrible. Boring lectures every day and beyond dumb videos. Hard class, midterms, final, group projects, random homework...hard, very hard.
