Andrea was an amazing professor. Other than her handwriting being difficult to read regarding feedback on papers, she is always willing to help by approaching each individual student to ask them if they needed any kinds of assistance during in class work days. Do the papers, you'll receive constructed feedback and most likely an excellent grade.

Participation is not mandatory, but there are times where you have in-class assignments that will hurt your grade if you skip. She cares about her students and is relatable. She will help you out and meet with you numerous times to review your paper. If you show initiative, she is very helpful. I also felt like she was clear with what she expected.

I like her as a person but not as a professor. I think at times the work was very unorganized and very confusing as to what she was looking for. She trys to be relatable but it doesnt work for me. I feel that her grading is very unusual and not consistent.

Take Andrea! She's great!!! Just don't get the books, she reads them to you anyway. She's a pretty easy grader if you follow along and don't procrastinate. You only have four papers and they're not that bad at all. Plus, she's pretty funny.

Some reading, but not too much. Attendance important on certain days. Clear instructions, clear expectations, lots of help available. Communicates all changes well, keeps grades updated, interesting assignments. Introduce yourself and participate in class so she knows your name. I would DEFINITELY recommend taking her class.
