BEST HISTORY TEACHER YET!! Easy A, easy grader. Barely takes attendance, 1 midterm question on American revolution and a final 5 page paper on any U.S. situation with another country. He takes a lot of absents himself, cancels class if its pronounced bad weather and emails you ahead of time. He sends a lot of emails to catch up with the time event

Honestly, im an A student ... 3 time Deans list & his class ruined me ... If your views dont match in what he believes in then its wrong and he will cross it out from your papers which is disrespectful Not to mention the fact he speaks about personal stuff like how he smoked weed in college or how much money he owes in taxes etc UNPROFESSIONAL !!!

Bruce Chadwick was by far the greatest professor I have ever met my entire life. He is the living definition of laid back. His class is an easy A, simply show up, listen to his stories, skim through the text book and you pretty much passes. We wrote two papers the entire semester and their deadlines were more like suggestions than actual deadlines

Great class, but if you don't like writing papers, don't take the class. There were 4 papers. Some as long as 7 pages. The midterm is, as he claims, "the easiest test you will ever take." He even gives out answers to the test throughout the year. One being, "the Louisiana purchase is the most publicized event in the Jefferson presidency." Fun Class

I didnt like this class at all. I got by without a textbook(sort of a mistake) but all his assignments, and i mean ALL OF THEM are vague and misleading. The only good thing about his class is that he spoke about the stories in history. If you are going to take his class...sit in the front, the guy speaks very spoftly.

He is a teacher that walks 2 the beat of his own drum and i like that about him. He makes history class very interesting because he is a good story teller. He is a professional writer.He gave us 2 papers not strict on due dates, sorta follows syllabus. One of them counted as a final exam. One midterm, need book,goes over test. Very nice professor.

As long as you figure out what he wants in your papers, the class is easy. He is the most laid back human being on Earth and is willing to work with you. Deadlines are more like suggestions and he rarely takes attendance. So, if you're in to that sort of thing, this guy is great! there were several papers but no mid-term or final.

Had him for Writing Popular Criticism. Great class. Reviewed films, tv shows, and museum visits. He is super smart and it shows. When I dont see him on campus I can catch him on various airings on the History Channel. I have seen him on at least a couple of times now.

Love him! I took him for journalism and history. He's super easy, its basically just papers that you need to hang in. You just can't help but listen to what he says. He knows everything and teaches with such enthusiasm. I learn more from him talking than from a book. He's super nice too and he likes being funny every now and then. Super awesome guy

In his History classes, Chadwick knows his stuff back and forth and makes class super fun. I would go home and tell my brother all the stuff I learned in his class. He is the same way for his English classes. He makes class super enjoyable and even though he may seem easy, you should take him seriously because there is a lot to learn from him!!

I've had Chadwick for 3 classes and I got 2 A's and a B. The man is interesting and interested in what you say/do. I had him for Creative Writing which was the best. He sets such a pace for the class and has such a calm, relaxed demeanor that if he asked for the moon, you might make a move towards it. Great guy, fun, likes pop culture.

I've had to take Chadwick 3 times so far because of my journalism major. He's a very good, nice guy, and knows a lot. However, he can get on people's nerves--harmless, though. Don't buy ANY of the textbooks; you'll never use them, trust me. Take Chadwick if you want an easy A for just showing up, but if you want challenging courses, don't take him.
