She is a horrible teacher, not interested in anything but what she wants to hear. The class dicussions are supposed to be "open" but really they are just her talking about what she thinks and we all have to listen to it. One of the worst classes I have taken.

The actual class was alot of fun and very helpful. You get lots of feedback from people in your class, and it helps you become a better writer. She is rather vague when writing directions in the syllabus and expects you to understand what she means but oh well. Her own poems aren't that great either.

She had something against me from the start. Her opinion or interpretation of the reading is the ONLY one that matters. Mentions that she is a "poet" three or four times per class. Best advice is to sit in the back and keep your head down and your mouth shut, especially if you're a male or a pretty girl.
