Anne is probably one of the best professors I've had by far. She's passionate and really knows her stuff. She's understanding of absences and is willing to work with you. You don't necessarily need the textbook, but you do need access to it for tests. Put effort into your story research and try to remember your story without notecards & you'll pass

As this was an online class, there was weekly homework and quizzes. The quizzes were not timed and you could save them and finish them when you wanted. I bought the online textbook and it was easy to use. I took this class with another winter online class and it was very manageable.

Best woman ever. She cares about the well being of her students and is very invested in the class. I'd retake the class just to see her again, she's amazing. All you do is tell 3 stories in the semester and then take online tests. Very very kind and it's interesting to hear stories from different cultures.

The class consists of three story presentations and two online tests. The presentations are easy as long as you follow the guideline and just do it. The exams are based on the textbook but it is easy to do. Overall, Professor Goding was a kind, knowledgeable, and understanding professor.

I loved this class and Prof. Goding so much I am taking her next semester. The class is very easy and interesting for a GE. you have three presentations each worth 20% of your grade and a final paper with two readings open notes quizzes throughout the semester. If you come to class you will do well.

Wonderful professor and class!!!! There is a reading and discussion each week. Very kind and fair professor. Interesting readings. She is a very fair grader. Cannot say enough wonderful things about her. The class was graded based on discussions, a few quizzes, midterm paper and final paper. Would absolutely take a class with her again

Professor Goding is Absolutely Amazing!! I have taken 3 or 4 classes both online and in class with her. She is an professor great. She is very easy to communicate with. She is understanding especially in the event of an emergency. The material that is covered in this course is straight forward. This passionate about the subject matter.

Took Prof. Goding's Storytelling and Culture class and I have to say it's one of the easiest classes out there. Yes we used the textbook. VERY easy homework (short readings w/ 3 or 4 q's with it), present 3 stories to the class, and really easy midterm/final paper. Class itself is a little boring but it's an EASY A & always let us out early too.

Can't say enough good things about Professor Goding. She's incredibly kind and is always readily available via e-mail (especially essential in an online class), and made the material super interesting. She's also really funny, and did an excellent job in facilitating engaging discussions. Take any class you can with her!

Anne is an amazing professor who really cares about her students. She will go out of her way to make sure everyone can pass the class and doesn't mind if someone misses class once or twice. It's really easy too, three stories, weekly reading sheets, and two papers. If you're looking to become a little more comfortable with public speaking, take it!

Hans Down best class I have ever taken. Hansdown best professors I ever had. Hands down. The best perosn I have ever known! Professer goding felt more like a grandma to me then a teacher. So swaet and careing. Her class was also very easy tell three stories and write two papers that are easy topics and you chose your essay. Love this women!

Professor Goding is just wonderful. So sweet, so understanding, and introduces us to lots of interesting cultures. As for the class--you get a storytelling packet full of the semester's worksheets and storytelling criteria. Tell three stories, write three introductions, and that's pretty much it for the major assignments.
