I just finished taking RPOS 101 with Professor Hildreth and I have nothing but good things to say. The workload was not that bad, make sure you do the readings or at least skim them because you have to incorporate them in your discussion posts and essay. Quizzes were very easy, all answers are in the textbook but you have to be quick (20 min timer

Selected Problems with Hildreth was definitely one of my favorites. Most of the work was group work, but readings were definitely important for group, any tests, or in-class assignments. She makes jokes or funny comments here and there, but sometimes her instructions or questions can be confusing, but she will kindly clarify anything for you.

She... She... She... All she does is yab about what's going on in politics today, but on the test... That's one question. Get ready to study and read an dread and study if you want to pass. Honestly she shouldn't even be a professor. She doesn't teach slides are useless and tests cover like 8 chapters. Terrible.. Sweet lady though.

Was really looking forward to this class and was disappointed by the end. Supposed to have 12 quizzes with 2 dropped, only had 9. Midterm criteria was super hard and no review was provided. Final was a little easier, but still quite difficult. She was very unclear all semester as to what she actually wanted. 2 Tests, 5 cases, 9 pop quizzes, 1 paper

I took her course during summer school. We had to read a chapter for every class and hen be ready to discuss it during class. You need to participate because that is part of your grade. Some of the discussions are interesting (and slightly controversial) while others are kind of interesting. Overall a dry course but a helpful professor.

Professor Hildreth is a wonderful lady. She is very helpful if you reach out to her. Class was group-centric, so being there on a regular basis was pretty important. There were five tests done individually and then with your group, and a good amount of reading. Lots of things factor into your grade, so nothing too high stakes. It got repetitive.

She made this class way harder than it is for an online 101 class. It is a summer course not semester long online class. There were a lot of readings, articles and book chapters. She demanded to much in her essays. You would have about 7 articles and than 2 chapters to read and include all those materials in your essay. Final essay was to demanding

This class was far too demanding for a 101 course. The specificity of the information required for the test was ridiculous. For the most part the lecture covered information that was barely related to the test, this course demanded a minimum 3-5 hours of independent study a week devoted to teaching yourself the material on top of assigned work.

The material wasn't hard or difficult at all. What was upsetting was she expected 300 level material teaching a level 100 class. If you want to work your tail off when all you need is an elective take someone else.

Alright class, never really knew what was going to be on the tests so it made studying really hard. 3 tests and a final, all the same format: multiple choice than short answer and an essay. Class was often boring because she will just keep repeating things until she thinks the class gets it.

Learned more with hildreth than I have in 101,102 and 103 combined. She makes you think and challenges you. Great professor, if you have any interest in political science, take this class!
