Difficult material but truly tries to make it easy. Boring but engages the class to actively participate. Good knowledge of real-world systems but out of date on some things worth knowing unrelated to class material. Easy exams, study a bit and you should have an easy B. DO THE HOMEWORK. Never returned any homework, but does go over it in class.

Hard class, he's boring. No 1 in the class understand whatever graphs he draws on the board. You really have to study for this class, it's not an easy one. I F it coz I skipped all the exams<-what a dumbf I am...I heard Levkov is better. But don't expect much, this class is to learn hard stuff.

You wouldn't dislike him if you just took the time to talk to him, about class material or otherwise. Dr. Glaser is a very nice person, and he is a fair grader. He won't spring surprises, and makes his old exams available (the new ones are practically the same stuff with different numbers).

glaser is not as bad as everyone thinks. His proofs and theory get too elaborate sometimes and you will end up getting lost. He is helpful if you ask questions. If you took diff-eq beforehand, then you are pretty much set. Make an effort to go to the facilitator and you will pass his class.
