Math has almost been my best subject, so the fact that I got a D in this class kind of proves how poorly I was taught. He's a nice man, but he isn't the best calculus professor. I need to retake it over the summer now and I feel like it's gonna be a brand new class.

This guy was mad cool, i really dislike math, but somehow he made it doable. His personality should be necessary to teach math. His teaching methods aren't always the best, however, just ask questions and if u dont understand it ask more questions. Class flew by every single time, it was perfect.

I really struggle in math, and I worked really hard in this class and pretty much got a D on every test. But I think that he really is a great person, he teaches with passion and energy. He really loves math, but hes not the best at teaching it to people who arent understanding the concepts. He must have curved the grades at the end bc I got a C

One of my favorite professors. Took him for finite and again for calc. Very straight forward. Homework is optional but if you do some of the homework and attend the classes, you will pass. Test questions are very similar to homework/examples. Allowed one sheet of paper for equations etc. on each test. No midterm, 3 tests and 1 final.

Uploads all of the assignments and you just work at them at your own pace He doesn't teach a single thing, it is basically a self taught course. If you aren't good at math this is not the way to go. Suffer through the 3hr class in person and get some real live HELP. I wouldn't even take his class again if I was good at math! Stay away!!

He's very straightforward with what he expects from his students. He may come off as cold, but he's just very serious about what he does. Homework's not graded, but you'll most likely be lost if you don't do it. The same goes for attendance; all he takes into consideration for the grade is tests.

I took him for 111 and 117. You need to show up for every class and HW is not mandatory but is if you want to understand it! I thought he was great, aced both his courses. Just ask questions and do the HW! Go to his office hours with questions, not that bad! show him you work and he will appreciate you for it.

awful, you can come to class everyday do every homework problem but if you don't understand he does not care. half the kids in the class failed and the other half got c's and d's. there were 2 kids who cheated on every test and got b's. if you have him cheat or you will never pass.

He's the kind of guy you'd grab a beer with. As a Prof. he rushes through lessons, so no one knows what they are doing. When he says go home and study this for 10 hours I swear I had to go home and teach myself for ten hours. The next class is primarily review of homework, so we have to rush through the lesson and go home and do it all over again.

all he does is give problems from the book and waits while you try to do them. does not explain anything. can clearly see that most of the class has no clue whats going on and moves onto something new anyway. even worse at the end of the semester- speeds through hard sections in one class and expects you to know them for the final.
