A really understanding and friendly professor. Tries to make a subject like chemistry fun and easier to understand. Lots of tests but also lots of time to meet up and review material. I've taken multiple classes with her and she's well respected by the students that have her. Also good at answering emails in a timely manner!

I had Prof Brabetz after barely getting through chem in high school and taking 5 years from college. That being said, she was exactly what I need from a professor. She gives clear, coherent, fluid lectures while being open to any questions- which I had a lot of! She also helped me see chem everywhere, in things day to day, through her cool factoids

I wish every professor were like Ms. Brabetz. Probably the only class in my 5 years there that I actually looked forward to attending! It's like sitting in on a comedy show. Her ways of teaching, I would consider to be 5-star. She also makes you feel at ease when you have to talk to her or get help.

The best teacher I have ever had, hands down. Hysterical, encouraging & dynamic. Do the work, don't be rude, and there's no way you can do poorly. Will do anything to help you succeed not only in her class, but also with your entire college career. LOVE HER!

Professor Brabetz is simply the best. She always puts Chemistry into real life situations which helps me remember it so much better. I have her now as a first semester student and am doing excellently. Her review sessions are helpful, but you should go prepared with questions. her class involves a lot of studying because there's a test every week.

I had Professor Brabetz for Chem 111 and for Bio 111 Lab. She is a great teacher but she isn't going to spoon-feed you. She's more than happy to answer questions or help you if you're stuck, but you have to put the leg work in. Bio 111 is notoriously hard at Coby but having her in lab made a huge difference in my class grade- I got an A in both.

One thing about Prof. Brabetz is that she cares about her students. You can see her enthusiasm for teaching in her lectures. She presents the coursework very clearly and can really help you grasp concepts that you may have had trouble with. She gives lots of helpful examples. Also fun to talk to. You are in good hands with Prof. Brabetz.

Sometimes she goes into too much detail that makes students even more confused than they were in the begining. I believe she is a very smart woman but she needs to remind herself who she is talking to, and try to keep it on the students' level.
