Barbara is incredibly disrespectful to her students. I find the way she insults and talks down to students highly unprofessional. Nobody should have to bend over backward to get on her "good side," which is all I ever hear about Barbara.

She tends to snap at her students, especially during the busier times when shes stressed about the shows, and definitely takes it out on her students. Sometimes she can be pleasant to be around,but i still avoided her. Her costume design class is incredibly easy if you just do the research. If you want to be costume focus,you have no choice...

Only in week 10, but I can't take Cox seriously as an educator. Scatter-brained, late more often than students, has no idea how a computer works. Can't seem to keep up with the syllabus (we're behind on units and it JUST occurred to her that we have projects to assign and one past due). No challenges. She knows plenty of the subject, but that's it.

Really rude woman! She knows what she is talking about, but she is not organized. Thankfully I'm on her good side, but she still seems to be rude to people and what they are passionate about. She complains a lot and is bitter. It's like she hates her job so she takes it out on the students. She also grades on how her mood is that day. Not fair.

Barbara is a great teacher and you will do well if you watch, listen, and follow along with her demonstrations. If you already know a lot about sewing she'll probably like you, but if you don't learn fast or don't take this class seriously you won't do well. Usually she won't grade homework until the break and the very end of the semester.
