This was the most difficult class I have ever taken and I worked above and beyond for this class and I was only able to pull a C which is one of only two C's I have ever received and I was only one of two other people that passed. She expected way too much for a fundamentals of writing class and was quite nasty.

I wouldn't say I'm the best student EVER but i know the difference between that teachers that care about students, and Legg did not at all. When i went to an advisor to retake the class the next semester, he asked if i had any preferences. I said NOT LEGG!! and he told me she was retired, THANK GOD! and she definatly talks down to her students

She is not that bad of a professor. She can be very conversational and helpful. If you actually ask questions and visit her during office hours when you're stuck she will actually help you. She is very professional in her method of teaching and this can occasionally strike some students as "dry."

This professor gives the impression of not being approchable, however, it's the opposite once you prove to her that you are willing to learn and are willing to make a commitment to yourself and stick to it she can be very helpful, my personal opinion is that she must have been burned more than once.
