The class offers assignments that are real life scenarios in the professional world. However, the textbook was more like a reference guide and hard to navigate. She is a tough grader on cases that you have to do.

Had little interaction with the instructor. There was very little listed in regards to grading criteria for assignments. Textbook was inexpensive and interesting, and I really enjoyed the assignments as they were across a varied number of communication channels.

Very sweet lady. Always helps students and gives solid feedback after each assignment. She never keeps you the full class period. Sometimes even brings coffee and donuts for her early class.

Took online. I wasn't a fan of her grading style on our Resume. I've worked previously on my Resume w/ paid resume writers but Mrs. Piner gave me a C since it wasn't the way she preferred it. This cost me an A in the class. So ensure the resume is written her way.

Great Teacher! Cancels class a lot! Buying the textbook was pointless. Says attendance is mandatory but she never called roll. We spent a lot of time on class discussions unrelated to the class. Very helpful! TAKE HER!!!

Mrs. Piner is great! I have never been very good at English but she is very helpful and really cares about each student. You have to write a lot of papers but she will have conferences with you and give you advice and critiques. I wish I could take her again, she really is an amazing teacher who cares about her students as well as loves her job.

Wonderful person. I took her online class. It was fun. Everthing was due Friday by 5pm. Gives enough time to really work on project so that you truly understand them. She is there to help when you need her. Very precise and fast getting back to you. She grades fair and all around a very good professor.

Although this is a demanding class, the coursework is not extremely difficult. I earned an "A" in the class. Mrs. Piner is fair, very easy to talk to, and enteracts well with her students. Taking 3880 under her was a pleasant experience.
