He knows what he is talking about, but he expects students to have same level of knowledge as him. Can be a jerk sometimes, but you can have some interesting conversation with him. Powerpoints make no sense. Tests are mainly essays.

He is an extraordinary professor. Very intelligent, knowledgeable, and educated. If you pay attention, do your work, and read then you have nothing to worry about. If you enjoy learning, especially about history then I would deff take his class. You have to try in his classes, and if you are looking for an easy class don't waste his time.

He is nice sometimes, but has a huge ego. Sometimes he thinks everyone is as educated on the topics we are learning as he is. Lots of homework (journals) but they are easy. At least 3 essays that are medium length. Gives a few pop quizzes so take notes. The exams are all full of writing. Buy all books on the syllabus.

Comment:
Very disorganized when it comes to prep for class. Tries to use power points to teach, but they are not worth anything and do not contain any information. Wants people to think independently on the subjects presented, but does not provide much on how to do so. Expects a lot of participation, but does not leave room for much.

Tough grader, is not clear on what information you need to provide for exams, boring class because he's very dull, not a fan of history but he confuses me even more, quite arrogant and rude.

I want to like him. He knows his stuff. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to have much respect for students. Doesn't respond to questions and verbally attacks students, which results in much backlash and a poor learning environment. His feedback is confusing or not present. Material is interesting, his class handling skills just need work.

This man made it almost impossible for me to pass. I missed one class the entire semester due to an important opportunity and he told me my grade would falter because of this one absence that I warned him about prior to. He is not kind, not professional, and not helpful in the slightest. I have nothing good to say about this man. Do not take class.

Had him for WorldCivII he is not a hard professor at all, he assigns readings every night but never checks up on it, he uses the clicker so class participation is easy, he is not the friendliest guy and the class is dull, but it is certainly managable dont stress if you get him

He is certainly fair. No one should single you out to answer a question. You didn't have to be right, but it got his attention so that you were called upon more. Afterwards it was a great experience as it made the class better, not boring. It doesn't matter how hard you worked. You're left with a bad grade, nothing to show, and really frustrated.

He is not easy but he is certainly fair. He is willing to listen to anyones opinion. Comments of dry and boring are probably from the people who sat like lumps while he tried to get them to answer questions, or at least venture a guess. You didn?t have to be right, he just wanted to see you were thinking; it was plainly frustrating for him.

Lieberman is a very nice man. He tries to get involvement from his classes, but his questions come off as confusing. He's very dry, and uses PowerPoints without understanding how to make them. He seems nervous all the time. I do not suggest him.

Never never never take his classes no matter what anyone says. Take it from me if you really are into history and such take classes with Teresa Thomas or Daniel Sarefield. They are awesome and you will be the more happier that you did so.

He means well he really does but he is the most boring/dry person I have ever come across. You can't learn from someone who has absolutely NO enthusiasm or any sign of life. Puts no effort in making things interesting making it very hard to learn from him
