So I came into class but forgot to sign in the attendance sheet. After class i realized i didn't sign in and I walked up to her and told her that I forgot to sign in and she said "Thats your responsibility" so I still got marked absent from that day. She gives an incredible amount of work. Shes full of herself. Worst professor i have ever had

the worst teacher i ever had. should not be teaching period. extremely condescending to me and very full of herself. Needs to get off her high horse and actually teach. acts like were trying to become professional astronomers, does not care about her students succeeding. the worst teacher ive ever had in my college career.

I really enjoyed this class. The exams were pretty tough, but if you studied hard you were almost guaranteed to get an "A" or a "B" on the exam. She allows a notecard (both sides) for quizzes and exams. The lectures were interesting and lab was a lot of fun. The power points she uses is a more concise version of the book and has everything you need

Cares way more about being right than whether or not students are actually learning the material.I was only able to receive 3/4s credit for an assignment turned in 7 minutes late, while she repeatedly returned assignments late. Methods for grading assignments are also extremely ambiguous, and no partial credit is given for anything.

Does not care about student improvement/achievement, or whether the material is being taught in a clear manner. Condescending and arrogant,& constantly nitpicking tiny details that impact grades. Expects perfection and punctuality from students but constantly returns things late, while bragging about her work with NatGeo. Has no business teaching.

If you want a professor that will make the ENTIRE class regret taking this course, not giving back assignments at a reasonable length of time, spend so much time during lecture talking about her personal life and past events that are not professional to talk about during class, then take Professor Hufnagel. If not, drop her and find another class.

Dr. Hufnagel is a ridiculously difficult instructor. It's hard to get an A in her class; she is very picky and interested in what is taught in her class. When I attended her class a lot of students were complaining about her sarcasm, attitude, & teaching method, and eventually dropped her class. There's a lot of work, tests, & quizzes. STUDY HARD!

Dr. Hufnagel is super educated and she fortunately loves what she teaches. I think she's pretty darn organized. At the beginning of the semester you are given multiple packets with the dates things are due. A homework packet, syllabus, and a about me packet. Hard to keep track of if you're not organized. I thought she was okay.

Besides the crazy coursework and no textbook, this professor is HORRIBLE. She is very sarcastic and unpleasing, she attempts to be personal but fails. She has mention past abusive relationships and mentioned "Kegal Excercises" to students. Thats not personal OR professional. That is DISGUSTING! If it wasn't for tenure Im sure she wouldnt be at AACC

The worst professor that I had so far at Anne Arundel Community College. She is very sarcastic. There is no textbook so basically you are on your own. Tests and quizes with no background so you have to gather information that you not even know what to look for. It is crazy the way she does things and the way she grades. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR

She does grade hard however I enjoy learning and don't expect to be handed an A. I ended up with a B, which was disappointing for me, however apparently deserved. The students who gave her low scores were likely students who either slacked off or were just not intellectually capable of adapting to Dr. Hufnagel's teaching methods.

Prof. Hufnagel is very helpful. She knows her stuff. Yes the information is complicated but if you pay attention and ask her questions she will answer them clearly. I hate science but I learned a lot in her class. Apply yourself! This teacher will take you as far as you want to go.

This class is hard. She demands work from her students, however, if you do the journals and homeworks and keep up in lab, you can get an A in class. Make sure to do the quiz corrections--its the only way to get a decent grade. Pay attention in class. She's a tough professor but she is nice. See her during office hours and you can make the grade.

This professor is an overall BAD teacher. Her lectures were no help at all and she gave assignments as well as quizes and tests that contained a large majority of information not included in class/textbook/online. She showed no appreciation for the students and as a recommendation I would suggest not taking ANY class with this teacher.
