Shes a nice lady but this class is SO boring. Do not take the three hour lecture if possible. The class is pretty easy and everything with testing and quizzing is online. There's a really tedious paper due every week that has gray areas she didn't explain in class. Not bad, but seriously don't take the three hour class. SO long.

I am so happy that I elected to take this class. Dr. Mabry was phenomenal. She was polite, wanted everyone to succeed, and always came to class with a smile on her face. Videos and discussions kept me interested the whole 75 minutes. The class was awesome and I really was very sad on the last day of class knowing it was over.

Dr. Mabry is awesome. I have her for a once a week 2 and a half hour class and she keeps me engaged the whole time. in class activities are easy points, tests are straightforward, and we watch movies every week. she's a great woman and professor

Best undergrad class I have taken at IUP so far! I never had sociology before and she made it really interesting.She's a really nice/kind hearted teacher. really funny too! Make sure you go to class everyday to get the 20 points for the daily assignment. Tests and quizzes were difficult at times but their on webct so you can use your book/notes.

Nicest teacher ever and makes the class really interesting. You have to attend class though because you do daily assignments everyday that are worth 20 points. Tests and quizzes are online but are pretty hard..She's extremely helpful though and offers bonus points a few times throughout the semester

She is really nice, class can get extremely boring (DO NOT TAKE IT AT NIGHT FOR 3 HOURS) it puts you to sleep. If you skim over the book before tests they are not too had. Daily assignments are an easy way to get points in class. So go to class and it's hard to fail.

Aw I love Babe-ry. She could quit her day job and make it as a comedian. Always in a good mood and really gets the material across right. Large research project that I dreaded at first, but ended up being really fun. Very helpful. Keep Rockin' Mabe ;)

You will be hard pressed to find a cooler, more down to earth, and easy going woman at IUP. Dr. M is amazing! I'm not gonna lie, The class isn't "a breeze" if you don't try but effort pays off and she has fun with the class. Everything from cake and candy to Bingo and Jeopardy go down when Dr. M is involved. she's amazing at helping you out too. A+
