This class is easy, its really just a lot of work. There are assignments due every week, as well as a discussion. Theres also an essay due weekly or every two weeks. BUY THE TEXTBOOK! Do your work and you'll pass with ease.

It's pretty difficult to pass if you don't thoroughly study all the concepts she's cramming into four weeks of class. I feel like she wants you to read each chapter two or three times before taking any of the practice exams, and the discussions are necessary to pass.

As a person Dr. Goodwin is great. As a professor? Not so much. Her tests are impossible (multiple choice and 4 open ended in 55 minutes). Her lectures don't match the tests either. She shoves so much information in one test and most likely no matter how hard you study, you'll get a bad grade. I honestly wouldn't take her.

Worst teacher I have had here. Tests are impossible unless you can memorize the entire book. theres 40 multiple choice and 4 short answers you have to complete in 55 minutes. Class is pointless because nothing you talk about is on the test but she gives in class assignments sometimes. AWEFUL. DONT TAKE

Taking notes in class is pointless because she tests directly from the book. Attendance is not mandatory but she will sometimes do in class assignments. The tests are really hard, they are online so you are able to use your book but don't rely on it completely, you must study! She is a very kind and nice lady, she likes to cancel class A LOT!

Not a good teacher. Most of the time we sit in class and talk which is all fine until it comes to the tests. Tests are very hard, she uses very small details that can come from anywhere in the text including the little between the lines boxes that none reads. 40 multiple choice questions and then 4 open ended questions in 55 min. DONT TAKE.

Fall 2014-the online quizzes are easy they r the same twenty questions twice, so you should get 100 on all of them because you know what they are for the 2nd attempt-Exams be quick at looking in the book and you may get a B-lots of bonus at the end of the semester around 800 total pts with up to 100 bonus pts-do not expect a stimulating lecture.

I took this class online and outlined all the chapters for the exams, it didn't help the averages for all the exams were failing or a 64%. She doesn't really seem to want to help her online students regardless of how hard they try. She grades in odd ways because you can follow an outline of her expectations and she will still give you a poor grade.

All the tests are online, but are super tough. What she lectures isn't on the exams, but she gives assignments in class so you can't miss class. Read the book and you can pass the exams. She is really sweet and funny. Definitely willing to help if you make the effort.

I would suggest taking this class from a different teacher if you can. Dr. Goodwin is such a nice woman, but her class is impossible. The exams are online and don't include anything that she talks about in class. There is also not enough time to take the tests. You get 50 minutes to answer 75 questions. It's ridiculous.

Do not take her. She is a very nice and kind lady, but her class is impossible. All of the exams are online and you'll get about 50 minutes to do 75 questions. You can study all you want, it won't help you. She does give bonus but it still doesn't help. The overall class average grade was a C in my class.

honestly, avoid at all costs! Her exams are impossible no matter how much you study. They are online and you get 2 attempts but you will still fail. Quizzes are easy, straight from the book. OCA make up a lot of your grade. TAKE SOMEONE ELSE IF YOU CAN!

Dr. Goodwin is a very nice person who has good intents for the class, but she is not helpful. She does not explain a topic and does not answer questions fully (if she answers them at all). The entire class is listening to her talk about the same topic over and over again.

Kind and wonderful prof. Pre-sum class jammed full of interesting assignments & discussions. Challenging A'. Fast paced class, but very interesting material. Found digital copy of book helped best. 1 exam per chapter with 3 attempts. Final is not required if you like your running-grade. A no-nonsense class & very interesting. Would take again.

Dr. Goodwin had the best intentions for the class but the worst results due to her grad program. Her class was strictly class discussion the entire semester with little variety of other things. Because she was busy with the grad program, papers were never turned back and her clarity on what is expected was vague and confusing. Overall, she's great!

This was the first time she taught an Undergrad class in about 5 years, so you may not see her again for a while. Good heart, very knowledgable, open-minded, and just about the most infectious laugh I've ever heard in my life. Love it.
