A lovely woman and very approachable.Heavily emphasizes the notes in the text following each case. She is a tangential lecturer, which can frustrate many, but go with the flow and you may find yourself enjoying the class. If you want an A, study the Restatement sections assigned.Hard.Memorize the sections; read the notes/illustrations.

Nice lady I guess but terrible teacher. Agree with stream of consciousness for lecture. Random choices for exam questions--not things we talked about for 3-4 classes, but for 5 minutes in passing...unclear questions.

Easily the worst professor I've had since High School. She's the kind of incomprehensible professor that law students tell horror stories about, but you don't really think exist. She's out to prove that Law School can be as bad as you've heard.

One word, terrible. Her lectures are stream of consciousness, nearly impossible to build an outline from them. She evades answering student questions, provides a pack of old exams but won't provide and model answers. Buy some extra study guides because you'll need it once negligence starts.

This prof is a joke. All the below comments are true. She isn't helpful, doesn't answer your questions, won't go over questions on the exam, gives you this huge "practice pack" of old exams, but then she won't discuss in detail what a good answer should look like. Lectures focus on one student regardless if they've read or not. Never again.

I don't know how I got a good grade. She is very nice but quite possibly the least helpful Prof. I've had in my post secondary education. We had a "review session" for the final where she wouldn't answer questions about material that might be on the final... WTF?

She comes across as very homey with a Midwestern sense of humor. She easily gets lost in her own thoughts and can't answer questions. She embodies the teacher who couldn't make it in practice and somehow got tenure.

She is unclear and will refer you to the tutors if you have a question. Doesn't answer many questions in class. She is very friendly, but I have friends and a certain level of kindness should be the rule anyway.

I really like this professor. Yes, she uses the socratic method but uses it in an encouraging way. She is clear in her explainations, is interesting, and really seems to want to help the students do well. Would definately take other classes with her.

Won't stray from the Socratic method for anything. Calls on only one student each hour and makes them talk forever, which is stressful for that student and boring for everyone else.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I really liked her. Challenging, entertaining, and clear in her explanations. Uses Socratic method, which was terrifying at the time but a useful experience overall.

Honestly I heard she was terrible for Torts but figured I could tough it out when I wanted to take Conflict of Laws and she was the only one teaching it last Spring. Seriously, terrible teaching methods. Such a nice woman, extremely polite, but teaching was terrible. It was disappointing to say the least.
