Anyone who wants to learn any subject can do so with or without a teacher. To the person who commented that sudents can't stand their work being critiqued - I didn't enjoy hearing others critiqued. If I could I would wish to give everything I learned in that class back and return the piece of my soul I lost.

She is an awful person. I hated her and she was not professional at all. She curses all the time, even dropping the f-bomb. She is knowledgible about the subject, but she isn't clear about progects or assignments. She has a strict attendance policy (only allows 1 missed class) with no excuse from the health center.

Horrible! Stay Away! LEWD with a chip on her shoulder! Unprofessional, will cover not only design and form but inappropriate subjects as well, making people uncomfortable. In art history she'll grade grammar, not content, in research papers. Has favorites, if she dislikes you she will fail you. Uses foul language & inappropriate behavior in class.

wow, a chance to actually critic prof rhoads. she was a horrible professor. she didn't care about 'helping' students improve. basically, if you didn't do EXACTLY what she wanted, you failed - simple as that. true talent meant nothing to this woman. her motto was (paraphrased) 'you'll do it because i'm the teacher and i say so. if not you'll fail'

Took a lot away from her as an art critic. Most students didn't like her because they took the class to get an easy grade. If you were doing something in the world of art and applied yourself you can learn a lot from her. Very Good Professor!
