Did not like his teaching style at all he teaches off the homework which makes it very hard to learn. His Grades are based mainly on test so if you mess up your in some trouble. He tries his best to explain what is going on but many students i have talked to do not understand what is going on. Many students drop out of his class. Wouldn't recommend

Class was pretty difficult but if you go to class everyday and pay attention and will to work you can come out of there with a B+ or A-. Really tough to get an A but if you are willing to put in the time, take it with him.

Had for Calc I. I know that calculus is hard, but he did NOT do a good job teaching it. He tried his best to explain everything, but really made no sense. Curves huge! Homework-randomly grades ONE problem--so if that is the one you couldn't get, you entire assignment. I would not rec. him to anyone.

He is a good teacher, he helps you when you ask or if he can tell you need it. He is funny, not necessarily purposely but he makes us laugh. Only a few tests and you can have a study guide!

Very theory oriented. (was a physics major at MIT) Very willing to help- just ask. Tries extremely hard to present material clearly. Best professor you will get in the math dept.

He is a horible teacher. He doesnt do any examples and speaks in a way that noone gets it. his grading is easy in the aspect that you just have to get a 50 to pass. But if you dont understand the material you will be ****ed on the tests.

I thought that this class was impossible and he isn't very understanding when a student feels they aren't doing their best. I really felt that the tests are the hardest tests I have ever taken. Hardly anyone passes them and time seems to run out very quickly. I would not recommend him.

Hard class, good teacher. Daily homework problems, he goes over them one by one, tests are lifted directly from homework and he's great about explaining everything. Also, he walks you through problems that need the computer program; if you're bad at stats, take him. You work, but you pass.
