Comment:
Dr Parsons is a great guy... he understands this material inside, outside, left and right... but he has a problem transferring that information to students. He doesn't get why its so hard for students to understand. Quizes and tests are kind of unfair not always related to material covered. PS - DONT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT ALCOHOL AROUND HIM...

Comment:
Sheer amount of information makes this class difficult - lots of memorization. Notes are also formatted oddly and are difficult to interpret without being in class. Prof. Parsons is fair, however, and will take time to answer questions. Relatively generous end-of-course curve as well.

Lectures too fast, asks tricky quiz questions, but is friendly at least.

One of the best biology professors I've had at RPI. Difficult course material, but he is understandable. He will make a personal attempt to teach you, if you desire it ... and write a decent recommendation.

Not horrible but not great either. His notes are kinda werid and hard to study from.
