She's a very good teacher but a very hard grader. Most of the grades are based on your essays, which she is very very firm on grading. You get to do rewrites but they must be handed in before the next essay. Hard to get an A on papers.

By far the worst professor I have ever had (about to grad. SBU). Though certainly familiar with the material, she is close minded to opinions that contradict her own. She is the most inconsistent grader, but if you pay attention to her lecture and write the exact essay SHE wants you will do well. No room for creative thinking or boundary pushing.

I had Carol Farber over ten years ago. She never wears the same outfit twice and is nothing less than an expert in her field. Took her Shakespeare classes and aced both of them...one in summer session and one in fall. Listen to her, she knows her stuff

My prof. put me into honors english. When I called to make an appointment, not only did her secretary give me a hard time, but she gave me a hard time telling me that I didnt have the grades for honors.dont use her not helpul at all. ruined my schedule!!!
