If you have any trouble with math I do not recommend this professor at all. He's very smart and knows the material, but he's so smart that he doesn't know how to explain things to people who don't understand it. You are better off buying a textbook and trying to teach yourself, because all he does is read out of the book.

GREAT TEACHER. His lectures can be confusing but his tests are super easy, IF you do the homework. I am not a math person at all, but I still passed with an A without having to take the final based on my quiz averages. He pulls problems from the homework he assigns, so the quizzes are super easy.

Half of my class dropped, it is not because he is hard, it is because they didn't want to put in work. There are 4 tests and we get quizzes daily, you can drop your lowest test score and replace it with your quiz average. Do homework, study, and you'll get an easy A. He teaches at a moderate pace. It is easy to keep up.

I have taken professor Skrukrud since math 110 and he has been absolutely amazing as an instructor! Its truly sad to see all the reviews because I have found him to be extremely helpful whenever I had questions or was lost. Come to class and do the homework and you will do great! He pulls all his quizzes from the homework assignments and even exams

I do not recommend this teacher. He taught the entire class incorrectly. He seems like he's not even very good at math. "So, hey!" All the time. Teaches straight out of the book. Stationary. Doesn't move around. Only uses his Elmo projector. I dont like his teaching style whatsoever.

He is there for you when you need help but he does not seem that approachable. He makes me wanna fall asleep, he does not make it interesting. I do not recommend his class unless you are already good at math and dont really need that much teaching

As long as you show up and do the homework, you will be fine! He is helpful with explaining anything you may need .. just ask! He is strict on attendance, mainly because if you miss a lecture, you will fall behind. Take notes, pay attention, and do the homework! (even though not graded)

Teacher is very knowledgable. This course is not easy if you do not do the homework, which is NOT mandatory. But is you do the homework one question from the homework is used WORD-FOR-WORD for the quiz… I like that for the final he allowed us to use a sheet of paper and could put ANYTHING on it and use it for our final.

Teacher knows his material and wants you to pass. However difficulty of class depends on questions asked. If you have a question ASK!!!!! He gives plenty of opportunity. Do the review problems, do the homework, (although its not graded) and you will be fine.

I really liked him. He works problems out for the whole class period, answers questions, and occasionally cracks a joke. Two tests, midterm/final, are difficult. He gives easy problems for homework quizzes and holy-hell hard ones on tests. But homework completion isn't mandatory. Study hard, take good notes, and you'll be okay.

He assigns homework and never checks it which is cool. But his way of teaching is just doing the problem he doesn't explain how he got to certain spots unless you ask. He's a funny guy but horrible teacher in my opinion.

Frequent use of expressions such as "Hey," and "Yeah," or "Say," is a bit distracting. Teaches directly from text. Apathetic to student success. Will answer questions if asked, however, is not overly helpful in instilling the necessary knowledge needed to do well. Only one question per quiz, however, they are given every class. Overly corny.
