Comment:

The most engaging professor that I've ever had. Dr. Gray makes even the most difficult material understandable, even the material on the brain. Great examples and she gives different perspectives on the theories. My only disappointment is the class is only 8-weeks. It ended last week and I miss her already.

Comment:

I absolutely love this professor. She is very understanding and helpful! She constantly was making sure EVERYONE was following along each lecture and was always open for questions and discussions. The class itself was a bit difficult, but she made it much easier. At the end of the semester I ended her course with an 89% and she rounded it to an A.

Comment:

Beware of the discussion board assignments. Very confusing grading guidelines. You follow instructions as stated but get a bad grade because it's not what she wanted. Modules are organized in such a bizarre way (DBA1, DBA2, etc are the assignment titles... what is this?!). Most due dates are by midnight but some are randomly 5pm.

I read that the course was inconsistent several times and that she was not a good instructor. I realized that the course material did not match but when I questioned it, Dr. Gray was precise and clear about what to pay attention to and what to disregard. She provided great feedback that allowed me to comprehend the subject matter completely. :)

I took this class online and it was horrible when it came to tests and quizzes, the chapter numbers and titles listed on the tests did not match the book. . When I asked which one the test was on, she said "just read the book and you will be fine". Then when I complained, she asked why I didn't ask before. I did! She would take days to respond.

I've had many college courses & by far Dr. Gray is the best professor I've ever had. She is extremely knowledgeable, caring, fair, & presents info. in an amazing way that's easy to learn. She is very approachable for questions, & goes out of her way to help students. She makes the classroom a place you want to be! Dr. Gray is simply "THE BEST!"

Class was not easy at all. When asking her for help she said she couldn't ( even though they were simple questions she could answer) and to go to the help desk. Found the book material to not match up with the homework, quizzes ans tests. Discussion board very difficult. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS ONLINE!

Overall the class was OK. Luckily majority of your grade is multiple choice tests, quizzes and hw. The interaction part of the modulars are very confusing. You think you completed the way it was requested but then you receive a low grade. I would not recommend the online class through this teacher.

Online hybrid class. It moves way too fast and you just barely brush up on the topics. All the homework, quizzes, and tests had practically no relation back to the book, that she makes you buy for 160! To pass, you're going to have to be looking up more than half of the information online. Worst online class I've ever taken.

I took the hybrid 8 week class. Moves way to fast. Must buy the book because she covers little to none of the subject matter in class. Pretty lackluster class, but she tries to make it interesting with activities. Wish I took full 16 week semester class.

HYBRID COURSE. It was a fast-track 8 week course. In class was basically lecture, but was open to discussion with the whole class. We had to buy her "Study Guide" which was guided notes that went along with the power points. It was like $13. You have to attend class to get notes. All testsquizzeshomework was online and you must read the textbook!

Pretty straight forward class. If you do the reading, participate in the DB, and get the tests done, you will be good. If you need help she will be there, but she did not express any effort to unsure everyone was on track. I enjoyed the class and would take it again. The online class has ZERO in person testsmeetings.

I took her hybrid class & it was also only half the semester long. I wish I had taken the full semester class because we moved through the material really quick. But, Dr. Gray is an AMAZING teacher! She really helps & wants you to understand the material! She's funny & super cool also! LOVE LOVE LOVE her! Will definitely take another class of hers.

Easy A. No tests or quizzes, just tons of guest speakers. It's seminar style so you sit in a conference room around a big table and discuss cultural issues with the class. Its a great experience, although an extremely easy work load. This is a great class to take as a filler in your schedule. Dr. Gray is nice and very considerate of her students.

I earned my MBA 10 yrs ago and I returned to school after too many years in finance. I took 101 online w/ Dr. Gray & found her to be so helpful & caring I took her face to face psy & culture. She's fantastic & tough, but makes complex concepts understandable and memorable. If you get a chance to take her class, jump on it. They close for a reason!

Overall an easy class...However, on homework, quizzes, and exams check your answers after submitting. I had to contact the professor every time because 1, we didn't cover that material in the reading or 2, my answer was correct and was marked wrong.
