Comment:

Dr. Stead is a brilliant and really nice guy but not that great of a teacher. His tests are somewhat difficult and there is a large group project in the class with about 4 different presentations. I think he thinks the students already have a grasp of the class beforehand because when he started teaching, I was lost.

His class is extremely annoying. His class hardly follows the course objectives. He says "UMMM" so many times it is unbareable. His book, that he wrote, has very long sentances. His tests are hard and he is proud of them being that way. Do not take his class. He enjoys hearing himself talk and makes the class based off his opinion.

I found nothing about the class to be very dynamic. The class is supposed to be about technology/global mgmt, but you wait until the next class period to see grades on tests or projects, even though tests are scan-tron and machine graded. No use of d2l at all and no technology used at all. Very boring book that has lots of very long sentences.

Dr. Stead's class was both interesting and engaging. He is a great speaker, and thus able to hold your attention easily. He gives constructive criticism on presentations, which helped our group tremendously over the course of the semester. A very intelligent professor who wants to see his students succeed. Highly recommended!

I was nervous the first couple of weeks I began his class, but Dr. Stead was an amazing and very insightful teacher. He talks about stuff that you will actually benefit from in the future, sustainability, good mgmt skills, etc. Do not let him scare you, he is very helpful; not the easiest class , but very beneficial!

Totally obnoxious... that's how I would describe my experience in Org Theory. He's loud and does nothing more than copy his powerpoint slides onto the dry erase board. He overuses miliary and other nonsensical examples to make his point. Tests are easy but tough grader on group projects. Wouldn't take again.

This class is pretty hard, but the exams are pretty forward. your classmates make up the questions and he gives them to you ahead of time. just make sure u know word for word what the answers are. id take it again, but you really have to learn it.

Great teacher. Knows his stuff. Can be intimidating. Can be moody. But if you know your stuff, and ask good questions - he will be helpful. However, if you don't pay attention and then ask a stupid question - he will eat you alive.

Dr. Stead was hard, but I probably learned more from him than I have from any other professor I have ever had. He definitely knows his stuff and he knows how to get it across to you in a way your will understand. The test were hard, but if you study, you will have no problem. Highly recommend.
