Comment:

Professor Henderson is a real gem in the UWP department at UC Davis. He's a laid back professor who shows he cares about his class' performance. Very accessible in both office hours and outside of lecture. Lots of writing, which is to be expected but he gives solid feedback and allows for regrades. If you have the opportunity take his class.

He is a nice person and professor at UCD. Not easy class since it's required a lot of writings. But he is a laid back person that gives you good advice and feedback, so as long as you follow his feedback and attend classes, you will pass the class.

Lectures were a waste of time, but attendance was taken randomly. All hw and projects graded out of 4 points so if you had a solid paper, but one awkward sentence out of 9 pages, you're in for a 75%. Ends up curving it a bit towards the end. Take the quizzes seriously - you might need those points later. Hw might start to pile up so stay woke.

One of my favorite professors at Davis so far. Class time is a lot of fun (he's very funny and relatable), and you learn a lot. Grading is fair. You will need the book for the easy online quizzes, but the readings are helpful. Take Henderson if you have the chance!

Professor Henderson has a great attitude, which always makes the class interesting. He's very helpful in office hours. He's willing to critique your essay/homework and offer insightful tips before you turn it in. Also a fairly easy grader. Overall, UWP 18 was a chill and fun class and together with Henderson made my quarter.

Class is a total cakewalk. I didn't learn much tho. He didnt write much on my papers, just gave me an A. Hes a slacker & doesn't really care about grades so he gives out EC. That's probably why the ENL majors like him, but I have to actually work toward my grades in biology! Good GPA booster tho & admissions will think you took a hard class! LOL!!

Henderson was an awesome prof, classes were fun to attend and helpful. There were quite a few assignments, 2 large papers, 4-5 small writings, 4 quizzes, and a group presentation. A lot of time but not too much effort was required.Also, go to his office hours and he'll tell you exactly what to do to make your paper better.

He is a great UWP teacher I ever had in UCD. He gave us interesting and useful assignment which helps a lot in the future. He gives excellent feedback on the paper and during office hour. I can use the resume and personal statement for applying jobs and school in the future. Fair grade. I highly recommend this course and him!

Excellent instructor. He makes class go by so quickly. In fact, he makes class FUN, and you still learn valuable skills. I still kept my assignments from his class because I know they will be useful for applying for jobs and internships. Highly reccommmend him.

I'm an international student and I have to say that he's the coolest Eng prof ever. UWP102 is generally harder than 101, but overall, it's extremely helpful for your engr career later. You can earn up to 18ish bonus points but it wont change anything unless you have at least 15 or so. And there is no final in this class. Not even mid-term. Cool!

Henderson is one of the best teachers I've had at UC Davis! If you can take a class with him do it! He is entertaining, always in a great mood, and very understanding of any problems you may have. He's jokes in class but also gets work done. Learned alot about writing, and I HATED writing! Great course
