No papers, no essays, 2 discussions, 4 tests, & one final exam. Tests open book and timed. Lots of reading! Had to read 3-4 chapters every two weeks and was tested on them. If you read the chapter & study the key terms you will easily pass the tests. Follow directions and read his calendar entries everyday. He tells you what the tests will be on.

He's a caring teacher. Always available, answers questions and very helpful. Grades assignments very quickly and fairly. Very happy with this teacher and would highly recommend and take another course with him!

Great teacher! Very interactive with the class by communicating through the calendar. Gives a study week between discussions and exams. 5 exams, if you did well enough the first 4 you don't need to take the 5th exam. Extra credit for turning in assignments early. He also replies in a timely manner.

Professor Jimison was wonderful. I took his class online and he is SUPER CLEAR! Everything is laid out in the syllabus and nothing was unexpected. One week read, one week discussion, one week test, repeat. I enjoyed the class, but being online, worked entirely on my own. Would take again!

You are basically graded off of 5 exams and 5 discussions. You HAVE to have the textbook. Everything comes from there. Read it and study and the tests are multiple choice. You should do fine. He doesn't have an office, but he gives his cell and actually answers and responds which was amazing. Study material, ask questions, get a great grade.

Mr. Jimison Is a well rounded teacher. It was my first experience taking an online course with him. From start to finish it was great always there to help. All information was presented straight forward I was never left in the dark great class. Best part I can honestly say I have learned a lot from this class.

Jimison was a great professor. There are 20-something papers that are only a page long each and as long as you read the material assigned and give your opinion on it you'll get full credit, takes like 15 minutes to write. There are about 4 exams, (5 if you take the final). Final is optional. Lowest exam score is dropped. Overall easy class!

Great professor! If you have questions he responds rather quickly, and he gives you his cell # in beginning of class. If you submit assignments before wed. you get bonus. READ, NOTES, COMPREHEANDPASS!! you read the entire book throughout the class, but its crucial in order to pass exams! EASY A, if you do so, don't slack and hold off like I did.

I took his Social Problems online class this summer, and it was great! The Calendar entries on study skills are very helpful, and he has early bird bonuses out there for those who get done early, which gives us procrastinators incentive to get stuff done early. This is a great class. You'll love it!

I took this class online in a minimester. 3 discussions, 3 tests. As mentioned before, he's particular but also very direct with what he wants and expects so doesn't leave much room for error. Extremely helpful. At one point, Angel wasn't working properly and with one phonecall, he helped fix the issue. Great professor.

He really wants you to do well in his class. If you put in a bit of effort, you'll get a good grade. I never read the textbook and easily got a B in the class. Make sure you do all of your work so when he drops the lowest test score, your grade will soar. He's a great teacher for sociology. Make sure you read all of his calendar entries, too.

Took Sociology online. HIGHLY recommend. Follow calendar and you will do fine. May seem like alot of work but worth it. He is very controlling and organized. Makes the class easy to follow and never unsure about anything. Extra credit for turning in early. Would take him again!!

He was tough, but very clear on what he was going to test on. The class can be boring at times. He travels alot but always answers to emails. He is willing to help you if you ask. He is a criminology major so that test is extra hard. But study study study. You should do ok.
