Dr. Shelley knows his stuff, is great at relating it to the students, and has a good sense of humor. There is a small quiz for every lesson, 3 exams and a final for the online class. This one is really no big deal. Glad I picked him.

Super nice guy and very willing to help you. The class was pretty tough though, especially the tests. He does give you some fairly easy quizzes and homework to help however. Very hard to prepare for tests; no textbook, study guides, or powerpoints so you better take really good notes and he sometimes uses terms that are hard to google as well.

Probably the best teacher at school. Had him for nearly every econ and took every one he offered. He was a breeze. I did NOT miss a class and i recommend you go to class. If you pay any ounce of attention and take notes its an easy A. Dont be disrespectful and show up on time.

Dr. Shelley is awesome. He is very clear on what to expect on the exams. If you pay attention and take notes, the exams will be easy. He writes them straight from the notes. He is eager to help students and asks if there are any questions before he moves to the next topic. He is a great teacher, would defiantly take again.

Dr. Shelley is very knowledgable, but seems like he would be better teaching only higher level ECON classes. Tests are very hard and are 75% of your grade with homework the remaining 25%. The final is not cumulative. If you have questions for him he is quick to email you back. Take notes, study and you should be fine.

Dr. Shelley is a character. Knows his material in and out but not all that great at teaching it. Taking notes is a must if you can read his handwriting. Class is composed of 3 test worth 75% and homework worth 25%. The last test he let some students take from home while others had to take it in class. I ask about this and he simply said tough luck

Dr. Shelley lectures are very clear but make sure to take notes. The nature of the material can be a bit confusing. Dr. Shelley gives lots of homework but it does help reinforce the material. Make sure to do the homework it is the only grade other than the tests. Overall, I would take this class again.

He is a great teacher. You will take a lot of notes, but all of them are useful. The quizzes are basically what is on the tests. You don't need the book at all for this class. Just take good notes and study some before the tests and you'll make a good grade.

Book is not really needed. Breaks down difficult concepts in easy to understand examples. Very understanding and will work with you as long as you talk to him, but you earn the grade you get and there's no rounding up, extra credit, or curves. But in his class you shouldn't need it. Definitely would take him again.

AMAZING Professor. One of the most knowledgeable professors I have even had at ETSU. You will take notes from the first minute of class to the last, but the material you learn, and the drive he gives you to learn is worth it all!

Dr. Shelley is amazing. Definitely makes a boring topic much less painful to sit through. He tries his hardest to entertain throughout the lecture to keep your attention, and does a great job. Gives practice exams for the tests, however, coming to class is very important for he rarely uses powerpoints. Tons of online quizzes but are extremely easy.
