Professor Antkowiak is my favorite part of SVC. His teaching style is exclusively "hypothetical" situations he throws at students, most of which come from his own experience. He's brilliant, though he'll never make you feel stupid. He's quite the story-teller; he could get a hippie interested in the law. Change your life and take his class.

Easily the most inspirational and rewarding teacher I've had. This guy is the real deal and cares about giving his students a practical and reasoned education. He doesn't fit the mold of a traditional law professor but in my opinion, his teaching style should be the norm. Subject is hard but his illustrations help tremendously. TAKE HIM

A different view: I was a classmate of the gentleman and found him to be the brightest,most honorable, and best teacher even while sitting on the desk side of the classroom. He was an unfailing ally and source of strength for any and all.Over 30 years ago he was the best man in the room. I am sure he is still.

GREAT PROFESSOR!! His teaching style takes some getting used to but when you do his class becomes one of the most enjoyable experiences you will ever have in law school. He obviously cares about his students and what he teaches. I have never met someone with so much passion for justice. Clearly the best and the brightest that we have.

Absolutely the best Professor I have ever had in my entire life. If I had him for all my classes, I wouldn't even have to study for the bar exam. Not only do you LEARN the law with him, you learn how to argue against and defend the law.

God why didn't I get him for ConLaw. The man's a genius, too good for this school. Wish all my classes were taught by Anko. You really can't go wrong with this guy. His trial ad course was wonderful. God help those who would go against him in court.

What I loved about this class is that it was not a typical law school class. Antkowiak makes it fun and interesting and the level of class participation/interaction is extremely high, which can be rare with other professors. All in all, my favorite class so far in law school - highly recommended along with any other class he teaches.

One of Duquesne's brightest. I'm sorry to see him so underappreciated. His classes are similar to what you would get at an Ivy League school. The biggest complaint is that his grading system is rather arbitrary. He's still one of the best lecturers, though.
